Ke10 Diff In A Ke20
This might sound stupid but I've blown my ke20 diff up lastnight and I've got a ke10 diff drum to drum lying around. Will anyone know if the ke10 diff bolts up to a ke20 so I don't waste my time?? Thanks

5K Reving Problem
Just thought I'd give you all an update and may help others in the future.. So firstly, my revving issue was likley due to the main jets over sized (135) causing the spark to die at 5000rpm so I put in 110s and was revving to 6000rpm no problem - but was not happy with that so I put another cam in. I went with camteh 609 (http://www.camtechca..._4cyl_3k4k.html) given I'm running 10.1 comp. otherwise I probably would have gone all the way.. Anyway, Changed it over two days (what a b... to change, taking that sump off plus for some reason my lifters would not come out through the head - anyway all done now) installation went very well with start up being very successful - p.s. first cam change plus running solids. After running in the cam, it was straight out with the tacho reving to 8000rpm no problem with power all the way (even on the brake :rocknroll: ). Tried to put a small video up on the first start up but didn't let me.. I'll try and put in on youtube and send the link over.

5K Reving Problem
Thanks for the info.. It now revs nicely till 6500rpm since changing to the 110 main jets hence i'm questioning my cam not being big enough. I need to take it out a few more times and check fuel supply or maybe put it on the dyno again. But I guess I just wanna know if the cam I have is undersized for my twin webers head work etc..

5K Reving Problem
I told my engine builder what I was do and look what cam he put in.. (Attached in this thread). I have solids and prefer to stick with it but thanks for your recommendation re hydraulics... I called Tighe and they said 140 or 150A

What cam do ya all recommend running twin webers, 10.1 comp, port polished heads etc?

5K Reving Problem
So I dropped 110 main jets (I had 135) reved out like a normal motor ! This is how the plugs looked after a drive - Does it look lean?

5K Reving Problem
I checked my cam by looking at when the rocker puts pressure on the inlet valve (cylinder 1) and it was reading like80- 90Degrees! Did I check it right? below cam specs says should be dialled in at 40 degrees? How many degrees does one tooth throw out ?

Cam specs were previously posted. I will play around with the jets to start with and go from there.. Will let you all know how I go.

5K Reving Problem
I thought I was going to get more out of the Dyno guy.... He did say that I should be running lower than 120 main jets. He also said we need to start of by getting the AFR right then go from there (i.e see if it still bogs down ...) My webers have the following spec. 32 chokes, 135 main jets, F47 Emulsion tubes, 160 air correctors, idle jets 59F21. I know I gotta reduce the main jets - I'm thinking of soldering and drilling at this stage and seeing what it does through the rev range.. Another guy from the web (similar set up - 5K) is running the following: 32 chokes; 120 main jets; F7 emulsions; 170 air correctors; 45F9 idle jets. Is it just worth running the same stuff as a base? Also, anymore light with respect to my cam anyone.. I know its small, is it worth changing it??

So heres the Dyno run I did today.. As you can see its running heaps rich, where do I start?? Any suggestions.- 5K Reving Problem
hi guys i have attached my cam specs to this post, would anyone be able to tell me if the cam is any good for what i am running? not real good in reading this kind of stuffcam specs.pdf- 5K Reving Problem
I've got it booked to go on a Dyno on Saturday I'll keep you guys posted. What main jets do people normally run with a worked 5k? My chokes are 32 I know that.- 5K Reving Problem
Thanks guys... I've had my engine builder come and check the cam timing he says it's fine but I will check it myself! Electronic dizzy I'm using it's been checked running fine. It's weird if I go half throttle it will rev to about 6000-6400 then flattern it and it will just bog down and sound like value are bouncing.... So weird... Haven't had it on Dyno yet tho don't know if I should while running like that.- 5K Reving Problem
hey guys i just finish building a 5k its got a stage 2 cam port polished head, converted to solids using custom push rods. twin webers and double valve springs. i have run the motor in and the thing wont rev past 5grand in 1st and 2nd and in 3rd it may go to 6grand. sounds like it is value bouncing. has anyone had this problem before? does the standard fuel pump pump enough fuel for twin 40s or does it pump too much and i need a regulator. I think it may be my valves that the valve springs are too soft and causing the valves to stay open. does anyone know of any strong valves springs for a 5k that has been used in someones car and running right. If anyone knows what this may be please help us out. thanks- Weber Dyno Tuners In Sydney??
Hi guys I'm just looking for a good dyno tuner who Specalisises in webers in the Sydney area! If anyone knows what should a dyno tune with twin webers cost? Thanks.- 5K Dip Stick Length!
I got 340 from the full mark to the top of the black ribbed thing- 5K Dip Stick Length!
I got a bent tube on the block I have a 7k efi 1 from the F to the rubber flange it is 340mm and got a 3k one n it's 280mm are you sure a 5k is 240mm maybe I should add oil if it is! - 5K Reving Problem
