Club Meeting This Tuesday 31st Oct & 28th Nov
Trendact replied to Trendact's topic in ACT / Canberra
The October meeting has been had, 4 members turned up (not real good but better then some meetings of late). Marques in the park display will go ahead on the 19th of November as planned. Club X-Mas Party is still up in the air. If you want to have a get together eg: BBQ and a few drinks please let me know what dates suit you and we will see what we can do if we get the numbers. Summernats 20. This will be up to each member, I may take the rally car out as part of the rally club display. Again let me know if you are interested and we will see what we can arrange. Next meeting will be Tuesday November 28th at Pharley's in Hume. Brett -
Ok guys this will go ahead with Geoff and maybe Thomo displaying cars at this stage. We will have a 3x9 Marque and a BBQ on the day so if you can bring a car out or not we need you there to help promote the club and get new members. Let me know if you can come even if just for a few hours.

Just need to get the numbers.

Lil_rolla_chick I believe that Philba was asking for help because he doesnt personally know anyone and he thought one of us might which obviously as no one had replied we don't know anyone who could help in the way he is asking. Any one of us can take the phone book and ring around and judging from his price quotes he has indeed done that. The way you are behaving is definately not the way to get support from anyone and you definately should not be critising and judging people that you have never met before. If this attitude from you continues I will close down this thread and remove it.
-
OK guys by the next meeting I need to know if you are going to put your car in this show. Remember works in progress are fine, I have a car trailer that can be used to get unregistered cars there. Also car used for any form of motorsport such as rally, hill climbs, Khana's etc.... are fine. I can bring a BBQ out and we can make it a club day out as well.

Take a cold shower will you :) And I would suggest that out of area members check who they are bagging as Thomo and his business is a major supporter of Rolla Club ACT and has helped Philba in the past.

Guest has lost his licence for 3 months due to speeding that's why Rick is driving for Ford this weekend. Word around the traps is that in testing Rick has set faster times then Guest and has identified the problems with the car, something Guest has not done and Ford is not happy. This is the word going around but is yet to be confirmed. If true then Rick maybe in a good position to get a drive with Ford next year one would think. There was talk last year about a 2wd class at ARC level but this will be a few years of yet, I think Rally Sport Magazine touched on it once last year that it could be in the wind.

Well the regs have now been approved and attached. Due to the lateness of them coming out, please fax or email me if your entering or just to let me know you will be entering on the day. Sorry for the stuff around.
