  1. I want one, maybe time to build one for the Canberra club promo car. :lolcry:
  2. As long as you use the original seat rails no engineers cert is needed. I got a pair of fixed OBX Daytona's for less then $400 delivered to my door for the rally car and they are not to bad at all. you can find them here http://cgi.ebay.com.au/OBX-Daytona-Race-Se...1QQcmdZViewItem on ebay at On Line Performance, I have got a few things from them and they are good to deal with. And yes there is an ADR for seats and the OBX range are ADR approved, the ADR's cover the safety standards that a seat must comply to not the design as such (so I was once told by a guy that used to design seats for Nissan).
  3. nice to see that it is staying in the club :)
  4. I wont even put them on a trailer, if a customer supplies there own wheels and tyres and they have retreads I teel them I will not fit them to the trailer and if they want them on they will have to do it themselves.
  5. Welcome to Rolla Club  Think I may have seen this one down south with a for sale sign on it.
  6. Looks good, but Holden parts...... yuk I bit like the Lexon, Toyota badge on a Commodore. Then you have the Nova that is really a Rolla. Guess this one is better coz Holden has taken a good car from Toyota, with the Lexon Toyota got a sh*t box from Holden. Think Holden got the better deal.
  7. If you have the SC in the car then NOOOOO Way dude. But the I guess I could bet you that you will win........ :monkey:
  8. First time I have heard of them being able to check a car on a trailer or even asking them to remove it. Fact is if they can do this then they can do this to a car on a tow truck. Car trailers are about to tow race/show/broken down/defected car around so this would not be true. As for removing a car to check the trailer, I would also say no to this as 100% of the trailer can be checked even loaded, this would be like asking a truck driver to unload his semi so they can do a road side.........yeah right. A cop does not have the right to ask you or make you unload unless he has a warrent to make you do it or you are overloaded. As for the RTA guys asking, they would'nt try as most of the guys that go to the nats are involved with the motor or transport industy and one call to the TWU and look out RTA. We have been stopped by RTA road side in ACT and NSW with a damaged (and unroad worthy rally car on a trailer due to damage)rally car on the trailer and they checked the trailer over no probs and said nothing about the car at all. Fact would be that 80% of the guys that come to the nats have the trailer over loaded, eg: XY Falcon on a trailer with a 2000kg GVM being towed by a XD Falcon = RTA and COP magnet.......plus BIG fines
  9. Rally has not been killed here yet, but then a lot of public servants and a local member have rally cars :lmao:

    Braddon?

This still happens, just need to look harder.....lol Guess people have better things to do than run laps and it's getting colder :P Talk to Geoff (Rolla Boy) about this one, I am sure he will cruise Braddon again if others will join him :P And welcome to rolla club dude
  21. Basically make it look like a cheap plastic piece of just holding together dunnydore that looks cool but looks cheap and nasty like dunnydores do even without spending money on them...............LOL Could be hard to do with a rolla but, not as much plastic per inch of car as the dunnydore :D
  22. and the 13's?
  23. and to promote rolla club to all :lolcry:
  24. Time to talk about this guys. Are we to do this? Can we get the other states to come and join us? Who wants to help organise it?
  25. OK guys and girls, How is interested in doing this again this year?????????? Come on now the more cars the better, we will take our own BBQ out and we now have 2 3x9 marques that we can use again. If we start organising now then we will have a better display then last year with more info to give people etc...... Also if you would like to help organise this stand for the club let Geoff or myself know as more heads and hands will make things better for us all and less work for all. :lolcry:
