  1. o really!! i was just reading about with bigger turbos on rb26det's that you change cam to get it better performance, you learn something new everyday, cheers.
  2. it can be done, type supercharger 4k in youtube, i think you use an sc12, theres a fair bit of information on how to do it, not to expensive, but depends what you want to spend, how much you do yourself and how long you want your lil 4k to last, i doubt you can do it to one, without a reground cam, well you just wouldnt and yea, look into it mate. Travis
  3. lolololololololol thats good haha :)
  4. weber, extractors, elec dizzy, 10.5:1 compression, reground cam, exhaust. and a dry shot of nos haha. nah just go everything i said without nos unless you want to blow the welds on your intake.
  5. i reckon man, would be sic, but i like 180sx shape for something different :) lol
  6. omg, i had a go of a sr20det vvt blacktop s15, even though I'm on my p's the car yard let me lol, but holy crap, i want that engine in a 180sx!!! it was sic as!!!
  7. got the ke55 exhaust and ke55 extractors to fit my ke70 today, with a bit of hammer ing and grinding she fit like a treat!! stoked as.
  8. i have a 3 letter word to say to that: lol you wont do that again haha :y:
  9. just took mine off the other day aye, take rocker cover off and undo the bolts around the valve areas, there should be about 8 can't remeber though and don't have it with me, the bolts are nice and long and i think there all 14mm diameter. hope that helps, just undo stuff till it comes off lol.
  10. oooo you in shit haha lol   lol
  11. Finished high school today, all i have now is exams yeeeewwwwww!!!!!! and on the + side i didnt fail anything
  12. ive got the head off, its getting the valves and seats machined as the "lip" was like 3mm when its supposed to be around 1mm so i can't do it with head on as its not on
  13. Id say you could use all of it aye, ae86's came out with a 4ac in australia though not a 4age. most things could be used, don't hold me to it though as i have not done the conversion.
  14. i reckon I'm stoked as, start to earn me some cash and get my drift car project underway!!
  15. i reckon they would look sic as, everyone likes different things. looks awesome man love it.
  16. guess what happened to me!! well today i went to newsagentsy and thought hmm ill buy performance import 3 for 9.95 and a 2 buck scratchie to end my school life as i just finished year 12 today  and anyway i won 14 bucks on the scratchie so I'm up 2 bucks yewwwww. lol. anyway I'm siked thats the most ive one on a scratchie
  17. no i mean no high powered turbo cars on the road. o and i forgot to mention that the kid with the soarer got his marmy and dardy to buy it for him. some kids are exempted but i still don't think they should be aloud, you don't need that much power in your first years of driving.
  18. Were Like Rabbits haha!!! i think its more the coomodore p platers than the lil 4 cylinder drivers, and i do agreee that NO P Plater should be aloud a turbo, even if they have an exemption. a kid at my school drives a twin turbo soarer and definately should not be aloud, its a twin turbo 2jz engine!! i mean wtf who let him drive that?? i hate p plate commodores cause they think there driving the mmost powerful car on the planet. I'm the one who's doing up my lil 4 cylinder and I'm THE ONLY kid at school who has never had an accident!! (touch wood) but yeah nice wording Redwarf Travis
  19. Thanks ill check it out.
  20. ok thanks, the mechanic said it was 40 thou un compressed but i need compressed. umm should i take it off block or head?
  21. sweet as thanks man, will the compressed gasket size be much different than the normal gasket size?
  22. ok, what tools will i need to do a cc test, can i use a syringe to measure? and what are the thicknesses of normal gaskets? will it run with 98 at 10.5:1 compression? Cheers
  23. ok guys i am using ae86dc's calculating Static Compression Ratios guide, but I'm not 100% sure how to calculate CH (chamber Volume) now ive been told that my new engines head has slight head work to it, how do i work out Ch? it has flat top pistons so do i + or - or neither? with combustion chamber volume, how do i work that out, and how do i work out spark plug volume and how do i work out displaced volume of head gasket? i want to work it out becuase i want to take the compression up higher, by machining the head. Thanks in advance, need help asap!!
  24. umm pretty sure a 5 speed k box is k50 and a 4speed is a k40. what k engine though
  25. yep well all seems good man, got head off, and no corosion which is a major plus. should be ready to be machined on wednesday i hope Travis
