stanza
I'm trying to find out what gearbox i have in my wagon and if there;s short shifter's around for them. I was driving up and down the street today and i noticed while in 4th it's really squishy. Anyways is there some way i can tell what box it is? Thanks

KE70-from-mt-panorama
The box code is k50. As stated in previous post. don't think there are any markings on the box stating this though. Redwarf
A brief search using "short shifter" would have netted you this: http://www.rollaclub.com/board/?showtopic=17023 Can't buy them AFAIK, but they can be made.

David[RL]
if it's the late model K gearbox you can use a T50(AE86) short shifter plenty of people making/selling those, but most of them are LHD as far as I know.. it will fit anyway but the shifter will be located more to the passenger side, but I guess you could just bend it a few degrees I think you still can get a TRD RHD shifter
Golberg
if it's the late model K gearbox you can use a T50(AE86) short shifter plenty of people making/selling those, but most of them are LHD as far as I know.. it will fit anyway but the shifter will be located more to the passenger side, but I guess you could just bend it a few degrees I think you still can get a TRD RHD shifter As stated, a KE70 5 speed will work with any T50 short shifter of which there several options including the aforementioned TRD one but expect to pay around the $250 mark. If its a KE55 5 speed, custom is going to be the way.
