already read that entire faq mate, i just need to know about the timing when i have 10.5:1 compression. my timing is already set to 10 degrees

i always run 98 in it no matter what, when you say timing set right what do you mean?

ok guys i just bought a 4k off ke ping it real, now its had mild headwork to it, I'm going to pull off head and calculate the current compression ratio, what i want to know is what other peoples compression on their 4k is and what they would recconmend i have. the 4k has elec dizzy, extractors, 2 1/4 inch exhaust, reground cam (unknown), and yeah, i was thinking 10.5:1, what would i have to change so that it wouldnt f@$k up at that high or higher? medicine man said i could go upto 12:1 but i would have to get it tuned so that it wouldnt blow up, could i do the tuning myself or would i need a dyno? cheers travis. i want power!!

what grinds my gears.... p plate commodores ergh yesterday one comes up to me as I'm doing my 90km/h speed limit and sits in the lane beside me and like jumping forward as if to drag me i look over and I'm like urgh so i just turn up jack johnson and sit back and relax, so he gives me the finger and speeds off at god knows what speed, i HATE commodore p platers! and thats what grinds my gears. ok, well then it might just have to be skipped then aye, i was hoping it would help because of what teddy said about all the friction of cylinders in the bore. but if thats the only reason why you would do it then its probs not worth me doing it yet.

This seams like a good idea i think, and i was wondering if anyone ended up going through with it, i work at a light fabrication workshop so i don't believe it would be that hard for me to do eventually. so if anyone has done it can you give me some specs and photos, cheers

mine looks good i did mine with a spray can!! lots of prep and ive had lots and lots and lots of experiance with a spray can though so yeah, 3 buck cans from bunnings all the way!! woop woop!

haha i did a spray can job on my ke70 and it turned out awesome i went to bunnings and bought 30 bucks worth of black gloss paint and some primer :sob: good job i think. lots of spray can practice helped so i got no runs.
