Anybody know what the weight of a standard 3TC engine is? I'm considering an engine swap and want to do some weight calculations. Thanks

The 6 hour is a pretty good event. Maybe we need another Corolla on the team next year!! Yep, the max laps you can do in one stint is 15. So we set a target of 10 laps per driver per stint (if you miss the pit board and lap over the 15 then there is a penalty). 2.07 is a good time. ithink my fastest (unofficial time ) was 2.11 with ignition issues, so there's more to be had once we eradicate the gremlins and set the car up properly. I'll try and put something up, but i'm a bit spasmodic with my posting as i'm busy with other projects/ work etc. By the way, i'm running a TA22 diff with an LSD. do you know of an easy bolt on disc brake option for this diff. Someone suggested Corona (can't remember which model)

I'm going through the same process at present with a TA22 diff in a KE55 coupe. Looking to see what disc brake options i have for the rear. I've heard that 86 Corona are close to a bolt on answer but until i can get hold of some i'm a bit doubtful. I'm looking at doing the XT130 coilover conversion for my fronts. just need to figure out how much to shorten them by and where exactly to mount the threaded sleeve on the strut housing. Adjustable camber tops ready to go in as well. Any advice from anyone who's actually done these and have feedback? Coupe is a sprint/track car only. Thanks

Thanks for the feedback guys. I've got a pair of AE86 adjustable camber plates i'm going to use. Might investigate the SV21 option. Do you know how much shorther they are than standard KE55?

I'm looking at putting XT130 Corona struts into my KE55 sprint/hillclimb coupe and want to put adjustable coilovers on them. Does anyone know where i can get the kits fom? Also will this conversion bolt up to my existing steering knuckles or will i need to change them? Thanks

I want to put a T-18 dif into my KE55 coupe. Width should be OK with the right offset rims. Which LSD centres will fit, and from which models? Thanks :P

:P Anyone know if there is an LSD centre that will go into a Borg Warner Diff in a KE55? Or alternatively, a conversion. Have contemplated a hilux conversion, but weight is a factor! Thanks
