A friend got a corolla and i was sucked in by its beauty.
One week till i get my first corolla, FIRST CAR infact, the wait is unbearable.
Still a few years till i even get a licence tho.. :)

If its got bad cancer in the chasis or rusted through in any sensitive spots and buggered beyond repair or if its very time consuming to fix it we wont bother with it. Just don't have the time for big jobs like that. :yak:
Hopefully that aint the case, it probably won't be. 8|

Don't wanna burst your bubble, but I went and had a look and that rear guard has had more bog put in it than a public toilet.
I know :D

she's got a bit of rust in the rear right guard that needs to be fixed as far as i know, but thats the whole fun of a project car :D

Snatched the 55!
has a few rusty bits no problem!
Flyin over to melbourne next week and driving it back to adelaide.

i'd go with the 70 myself, i have always had a thing for 70's i have owned 8 of them.
i have owned a 55 to the are a nice car aswell.
it all depends on what you want out of the car

I'm looking at the 55 for its unique Style
the 70 looks the same to some of the cars in the 80's era.

i'm being offered a ke55 with 200,000km on the clock
and a ke70 with 170,000 on the clock
both with minimal rust
the ke70 is 4 years younger
Ke55 - offer - $1000
ke70 - offer - $1700 - $2000.
what do i do?

Don't worry, it was pretty stuffed when I originally got it, I just drove it till things started attracting too much attention and falling off everywhere, then made sure it was FUBAR'ed properly........ :cool: I'm doing it all again in another one soonish......... :y:
