So I was having a chat with a fellow corolla owner, and he informed me of a reasonable condition KE36 sitting at, of all places, the dump...and he said they wanted to sell it.
Now they wanted $700, and my mate told me he had talked them down to $400.
I told him he shouldn't have told me about this, as for some reason, no matter what or where or when or how I am told about a corolla....I usually end up owning it within a week.
Which is exactly what happened AGAIN.
After a terrible experience at motor registry 8| asshole pieces of shit that work there!! ....................anyways, I decided to head out to have a look at this wagon.
Now I have wanted a KE36 for a long time, but not been keen to pay alot, mostly because I am a tight ass, but anyways, I thought $400 isn't too bad (I'd seen a pic on my mates phone).
So I get out there, and it's pretty good, no rust in the back, both front guards have rust holes (easy fix), interior is black and in neat enough condition to be comfy.
Start it up...it runs, just. Needs a good tune and some customised Geoff tuning, which basically consists of a few 10/10 tunes, (which for those of us unfamiliar with a 10/10 tune, is...10 thousand RPM for 10 seconds :hmm: )
Being a KE36, it's only the small block :( (3K) but that's easily fixed....I decided I would buy it.
So I find the guy working there and ask how much, and he said that he told a guy $400 the other day, and I go....WOW $400...man it's a bit rough....and he goes, how about $300...and I said I'm thinking more like $200....and he agrees.
It has 19 days rego, should be enough time to get it passed to put in my name....
So here begins the tale of Wagon 'O' Death....or Wagsy for short. My first ever Corolla wagon ;)
Only one pic thus far...will take interior pics etc soon.
