  2. a set of piontii pliars should do the trick just insert the pin back threw and push the little clamp in and turn...its hard to explain but yeah

  6. i have a ke30/55 5 speed and a ke70 5 speed what would be better to convert into my ke25 .....or are they both the same & will the speedo cable fit in either one and do i have to make a crossmember up? any help would be greatly appreciated cheers brendan
  7. well i bought 1 for a ke25 from repco so i don't see why not for a ke30

  9. hii all A Friend has made a gilmore that has been made about 4 years ago he has asked me to come on here and ask has anyone went threw alot of alternator and waterpump bearings? and how often have you went threw them if so? cheers brendan

  11. i want to be reving harder than 8000 thats for sure...i have no probs with hydrolic but for revs everyone tells me to go solid
  12. hi all my 5k is mildy worked(flat tops ,cam, little head work, balanced etc )it currently has hydro lifters and everybody is telling me to go solid what must i do to change them eg lifters pushrods etc any help would be much appreciated cheers brendan and what would i have to do to engineer my 5k in my ke25?
  13. hey all i have a ke25 I'm after someone to do an engine conversion on it I'm after a 4age ...(it currently has a worked 5k) would anybody know how much it would cost for a drive in drive out job ,fully engineered and all and if anybody knows who would do it in sydney? cheers brendan
  14. ive made up my mind and will start the conversion at the end of the year I'm cosidering painting it breeze green off the xr6 turbo ...whilst the motor is out ill keepyous all up to date with the coversion
  15. ahhh yeah the little ball bearing should be ablle to screw out and just put you nut and bolt threw there and tighten it up with the gas cable threw it
  16. the outa coating of the cable is attaches to a steel bracket wich is connected to the block but the actual cable that hooks to the carbs has a a small bolt that you tighten that sqaushes the cable tightly to the bracket on the su ...ill try and draw sumthin up for you to show you what i mean sorry bout the headache lol

  21. yeah thats what i thought ...that was a load of crap till just about everyone told me the same thing i suppose it'l be like the 351 ....still can't get it engineered for the street
  22. capa supercharges said that i can get a 1000 hp out of a 1u without havin to touch the bottom end so I'm just thinkin if it would be worth it i riped out the 351 because i put it bak in my ltd .all the modifactions i do myself so it wouldnt cost me much ...just the materials has a 1uzfe even been attempted in a corolla
  23. i noticed form 0-100 a 351 pulls you in the seat but the 1u is totally different after 100 is where the g-force is...i was thinkin if i can piss off the fuel injection and carby it it'l be good ,saves me the hassle of computer etc etc, but not sure if they made a manifold to suit carbs for the 1u? what are itb's never heard of them?
  24. hi all i am currently bought a smashed up toyota soroar wich has a 1uzfe 4l v8 in it ...i am seriusly considering of putting it in my ke it had a 351 windsor in it out of a ltd ford.....what would be more suitable you think? 351 5l or 1uzfe? It would be great to find out what yous think cheers brendan
