hi all had this 70 for a little while now saved it from a wreckers thats was going to either scrap it or put it up for wreck Started off as a stocka and ended up to this, any opinions how how to make this thing look better just throw them up BODY: nice and stock fresh coat of paint with an orange pin strip to break it up SUSPENSION:all stock except for a few ajps and-ons like camber tops,strut brace,and a nice fat front stabaliser! RUNNING GEAR :drove it around for about a year with the standard 4k than had it removed to make way for the new 5k the 5k was fully striped down after sitting in the shed for 5 years and had a full overhaul ,was ment to be a quik overhaul with a mild cam but blew out to be fully worked runs a knife edged crank, 4AGE pistons, 3k bigport head wich was heavily modified (enlarged valves heavier valve spings ported etc etc)changed to solid lifter set up, big cam twin 40mm side draughts with extracors and a 2 1/2 inch exaust with a dumpy on the ass runs a stock k50 with new clutch with standard diff ROLLING ON:14" steelies wich i had widend and chromed to siut a ke30 i had a few years back but looks tuff on the 70! (IF ANYONE KNOWS WHAT CAR THESE ARE OFF OR WHERE I CAN GET ANOTHER SET FROM GIVE ME A YELL!)

I put 3k head on my 5k and had it decked with flat top pistons it runs great doesn't ping since I put twin side draughts on it

Hi guys have a fully worked 5k wich has a 2 1/2 inch exaust system considering about putting twin exaust on it but not sure how it wil sound or go! Just wondering if anyone has done it before?

Yep they shaw are you wouldn't want to hit them A 5k twin sidraughts wil go very nice on a piece of rolla history like that

yeah well he said he had to regraph the dizzy so yeah I put yhe gilmer kit on With the twin sidedraughts cam and gilmer it souds crazy!

Hi all I took my ke70 to get a dyno tune last week after succesfuly tuning it roughly myself The prob is when I tuned it you can acually hear the rumble in the cam Now I got it tuned by a professional the cam has sort of gone and it uses less fuel and hasnt gained not much more hp ,its like he tuned it to economy ?is there any way to have the rumble but also have the hp? Does anyone know where to get a dyno tune in the west subs in nsw ive tried 1 so far with this motor? Any help would be appreciated

yeah to do that there's the other corolla alternators that have the smaller shafts mighty as well change alternators over

Na I don't want to lath the shaft on the altenator I was thinking of drilling the ppuly hole biger haas any one had this problem and thanks for the water pump issue

Hi al I bought a gilmer drive for my 70 though the gilmer drive gear for the alternator is smaller in diamiter can I drill it out to fit ?(the shaft on the altenator)or do I have to swap the altenator to the other one with the smaller shaft? Cheers

hi all i heard a ke20/25 diff fits straight into a ke17 is this true? if not does the centre atleast fit ? any help would be much appreciated cheers

yeah i don't think its the diff thats loosing time i think it just needs more power

hey guys ran the ke down at the creek last wednesday best i could get was a 15.6 at 144km/h and thats with traction i did 4 runs and they where all between 15.8 and 15.6 what else could i do to get it down!

just wanted to share something with you guys In dec 09 wheels mag on page 30 they claim the corolla was the most ugliest car of all time and the charger e39 was the most sexiest. It just brakes my heart hearing that lol

yeah if had the diff in 2 of my ke10s and ive gave it the shock treatment over 50 times and she hasnt let go yet so hopfully it wont let go on wednesday ill let you guys know how i go
