  1. Ok guys heres the situation i have 4AFE motor in my Corolla and stock power is soo boring i need to do something about it. Now, i don't want to go through the headaches of doing an engine conversion as the car is my daily and i would like to stick with the 16V. So with extractors, exhaust and CAI will i achieve much? And are there any other mods out there that will help increase power? I know it sounds like I'm trying to beat a dead horse with a stick lol but there has to be some way to get good power out of these granny spec 16V motors!! Your help would be greatly appreciated! Cheers! Dave.
  2. so how much should i expect to pay in total for all the equipment i need?
  3. No worries, thanks for that MYSTIK! So just to do the rear conversion on its own, what would that cost me roughly? I want to do the rear first then go better at the front later down the track.
  4. Thanks very much for everyone's help! :) Just one question, instead of sourcing all the parts to convert drum into discs, would it be easier to just get myself a Corolla SX whole rear axle and just replace my CSi one?
  5. Hey guys my Corolla CSi unfortunately has the rear drum brakes on it and i want to convert to disc brakes. Is this possible? And if so what would be my best options in doing this conversion? I mean conversion by actually swapping the whole entire rear axle... Cheers! Dave
  6. Sorry please delete thread, i posted in wrong area...
  7. Hey man nice Corolla! Looks wicked & sooo clean! Any plans for mods on the engine?
  8. I drive a 92' Corolla CSi hatch 5 spd manual, all stock at the moment
  9. New pics..and i also got myself an 92 CSi dash cluster with tacho :)
  10. Thanks for all the kind comments guys! Can't wait to get started!
  11. Cheers mate! Ive also started a thread for my Corolla now which is in the member's rides section

  13. Thanks heaps everyone for your help! I havent got any pics yet, but as soon as i get the car which will be in a couple of days ill definately take some pics. As for the tacho, i was thinking maybe of getting a GTi cluster for it? Is it just plug and play? If not i would just get myself a nice autometer tacho, something that blends well with the dash. Thanks again for your help guys! Much appreciated :D
