  4. woooooo thanks hy-rolla for the push rod info :locked: KENut: the 32/36 weber i have is fine atm just put a kit on it and new 1500cc jets i fort this carbi was too big???? seabiscuit: my 5k has only done 78,000 ks i have it on paper. i no it needs a tune up really bad and it been fully serviced 1 month ago eg (4 platnum sparkies,new sparky leads,condenser,points,motor oil,oil filter,fuel filter,gt40coil,proper coolent,gear box oil,diff oil,air filter) things i havent done yet eg (tune the weber up,points gap,timeing,new thermostat) thats all i think Doogs: if I'm going to do head work i may as well do soilds as well saves me or the nexted person doing it thanks for all the info :n:
  5. ok look i no it sounds silly me say i want a slider!!!! but thats the look I'm trying too go for like an old skool drift car. and no i want be drifting it its not that power full and I'm sure alot of people on the club have lowerd there rolla's 4in. well i have 4in blocks at home, I'm going to put the 14in stocks on the back and put the blocks in to see what I'm looking at and see how low it is (ive had the 4'' blocks in befor from what i can remeber it wasent that low but thats probly coz i was running 17'' mags) i havent seen how it sit on the 14'' yet but will give it a go and see. lol weld the diff to the bump stops hahahaahahah
  6. its got extrators and an exhaust. well i wanna pull huge revs at the momemt thats what letting me down my motor is only good for 4700rmp it goes to 5500rpm tho but don't like it lol for a good gear change 4700rpm i need more revs :locked: if iam going to do some head work i may aswell change to solid lifter yeah??
  7. hey all i have a 5k with a 32/36 weber yeah goes ok but just wanna no what some good mods are too the 5k as i want just abit more power outa the k :locked: think of a possible fully/mild worked head and solid lifter conversion and a sutible cam any info will be good on this topic cheers shaun
  8. yeah but the ra40's i got where out of a ke55 track car??? so i think that problem has been fixed (top hat) but i never seen them on the car so i don't no about the camber probs! yeah the wheel are abit big but only coz i got then of a australian skyline thats why they have massive tyres lol I'm thinking of vented and sloted rotors tho coz ther mite be a 4 age or 13b later on down the track :locked: finger crossed

  10. yeah i don't have the ra40's in yet I'm not to sure how low they sit on the front in running 195/60/14 and i also don't wanna cut them i think i beter put the ra40's in frist see how they sit and then juge the back to see what i can do. but at the moment i need new vented and sloted disks / pads and wheel bearings for the ra40 :locked: ummm what rotors are you running on your ra40 vented or vented and sloted??? and what prpblems did you come across eg bake lines, camber???? coz i wanna no if i can mount the ra40's staright to my ke30 LCA useing the ra40 balljoint i have the ra40 balljoints and LCA but have been told theres camber issus :cool:
  11. ok sofar on the car: i have a pedders front sway bar fatter then the stock lowering king springs in the front and rear is stock? what i have for the car but havent put on::::: i have RA40 front brake upgrade ra40 lowering spings ready to go and pedders rear sway bar this is the set up i want front: RA40 brakes lowerd king spings front pedders sway bar. back: lowerd 4'' with vn wagon shocks and peders sway bar.
  12. yeah its sweet I'm not going for looks Taz_Rx i want a slider. thats while i have the sway bar and want it low the reson i want it so low is so i can try and get rid of as much body roll as i can. the vn commo shocks i think will take some on the spine golt away just need to no will they fit with how low i want it.

  15. yeah i no I'm still seeing want i can do with. but I'm also running 14in stockies with fat tyers 205/80/14 and its high as probag no'1 in australia!!!!!!!!! is reseting the leafs for me thats why I'm looking for bigger shocks for the rear to take some of the bunce go away and its legal thats what probagg told me when they do stuff like this they also engineer it too be low why will i waste $$$300 to lower it 2in when i can lowwer it 4in for the same price pfft poser low thats 6in have you seen my roll it looks like shit handles like crap lowering it will be the best think i have ever done to it or i can stay stock hight and be loveing the body roll :locked: and heckti under steer and oversteer

  17. hey all ive look everwhere to find this but can't!! ive herd a while ago on the club about people lowering ke30's and useing a supper low holden shockies for the rear i think they where (vn wagon supper low shocks) but not to sure if anyone can remember what they where can you let me no thanks i can't remember what they where :locked: I'm lowering my ke30 5in or 4in i have a pedders rear sway bar to fit aswell but i would like to no what shockies will be best for this and what will fit thanks shaun
  18. well as we all no most rolla diffs are flogged out!!!!!!!! like mine!!!! (driven up a gutter SNAP!!!! sungears shit it) welll i had no choice but to lock it :P i still can't find a center for the BW DIFF so i can't fix her :y: but my rolla has been locked for 3 months now 14in stocks aswell no problems and trust me ive done every think you can think of apart from ripping a skid on smooth slick road coz that stuff will brake somethink lol I'm amazed that i havent snaped an axel i really am i told my brother rolla diffs aint strong so we took it ezy for a bit slowly working up too bigger dowies and clutch pop's (on a privet farm) :y: rolla axels are almost the size of VL ones :0 lol yeah but heaps of oversteer understeer and yeah really hard too drive too i think your 12a will snap it right away if you have some axels and diffs laying around why not have funn :(

  21. lol i had 215/**/17''in only on the back tho thay didnt fit on the front ay front wheel drive offset i think and all so this photo of the ke30 is dumped on its ass tail sharft is banging around underneth the car when i boot it lol silly i no but now she is back to stock hight :P

  23. hay all just need to no some Questions about ra60 brakes on the ke30 done some looking around and can't fined the questions i need so abit of help will be cool as. ok I'm going to upgrade the brakes on my ke30 to ra60 brakes! ive been told all about the camber problems when doing this so i don't want any camber problems (as i can't afford new tyers all the time lol) if i put the ra60 strutes in can thay be bolted to my stock ke30 LCA and the ke30 ball joint???? note::: the ra60 struts have lowering springs in them will this cause any camber prob's???? plz if someone has put the ra60 in there ke30 and have no problem's with them fill us up on some info lol i can't fit them yet as thay need new disk's padd's and bearing's otherwise i would have try fiting them my self but as i drive this will not be a good i dear to stuff around with my brakes cheers shaun thanks all to the people that help :P
