I no everyone always ask about how do you put a 5'' Monster Tacho in ?? well hear you's go esay as have a look oh and there is also two loops on the back of your tacho (that mite need to be joined or cut) for 4 bangers 6 bangers and also 8 bangers will get this info tomorrow for yous cheers shaun

oh really so you need the right bonnet dam by the looks of it jip your bonnet looks like the chrome grill are recest in :y: i have to diferent bonnets i think one is a ke55 (the grey one) and the one on my car now is ke38 wagon bonnet lol will they fit :dance: the bonnet on the ke38 wagon is now on me 30

yeah but this is what I'm trying to find out Taz_Rx ive never had a 5k before this is my first one i don't no why on start up it sits at 62psi and when warm 40psi! maybe its been shimmed (but i don't no) can also be my oil being to thick or somethink i don't no if it has work done to it. i got it of a old man witch it was in a ke38 wagon! so i think its stockas and I'm going to do some work to it head work, a balance new piston and rings and a bit of a bore and also high rpm cam, so i sorta need some more oil up top but just wanna no my limets cheers thanks for all the info helped out heaps :wink:

lol yeah whats with that!!!! over the last 5 months ive seen them go from around 1g to now 3g to 4g???? over priced i think just some people think they are really rare (well they are but if you look hard you'll find many) as every where i go and ask about *e3*/ *e5* parts they want a sh*t load of money for them i can think of atlest 15 ke30 and ke55 around in the illawarra area and I'm sure there is some hideing around :lolcry: hear is some of the stuff i have got over 1 1/2 years ke30 yellow 4 door wagon 12 months rego and has a 3k 4 speed needs a bit of loven $800 (my curren driver) ke38 yellow 4 door wagon no rego and had a 5k 70,000ks to 90,000ks and 5 speed i got it for $250 rust ke30 lite yellow 4 door sedan no rego had worked 4k 5 speed got so many good thing out of it too $170 rust ke55 red 4 door sedan no rego had 3k 4 speed also got some good parts of it to $100 rust and i can aslo get a ke55 lite yellow 4 door sedan no rego has 4k auto also for parts $200 rust see i think its cheaper to find car's like this^^^^^^^^^^^ the wreckas want $180 for a rolla diff PFFFFT!!!!!!! ill just buy a hole rolla lol so whats with it?? lol for sale $5g 1978 rolla 5k 5 speed black bonet!!! for speed goes good has rust and needs tlc!! jokes :jamie: I'm dreaming :y:

well the 5k has not done over 100,000ks yet i bort it in a ke38 wagon of an old dude he had the 5k put in coz the 3k wasent cutting it. the 5k was on 70,000ks when the old man put it in the wagon! he owned it for two years with the 5k so what ever he did in two years :y: ??,??? + that to 70,000ks = 75,000ks to 90,000ks and he didnt drive it much so the 5k is still sorta a fresh motor :jamie: well when i pull the oil pump out ill look for a shim i have never done this befor so i need some help on what to do about the shim??? i no abit i did my 5k conversion myself and i always play around with my rolla just don't wanna do somethink wrong coz you no what that means 0 oil PSI lol will fark my 5k and to much oil PSI will BLOW the cups around the sparkies i think cheers shaun

or has my oil pump already been shimed???? also got a ford z9 oil finter today and 15w-40 oil will the 15w-40 be ok i read the book on what oil i shoud use for the 5k and it said me15w-40 or hp20w-50 cheers shaun

ok philbey well ill keep the k pump. just for they where no good. but sounds like there pretty good :y: umm i got a z9 ford oil filter today and new oil 15w 40 (panrite) if thats how you spell it. shiming the oil pump tomorrow??? :jamie: just need sump gasget PSI at the monent its running 20w-50 gtx2 castrol my oil PSI sits on 62 PSI on start up @ 800-850 RPM when warm 40 PSI. when reving @3000 RPM its on around 80 PSI is this normal or has the oil pump been shimed already????? cheers shaun
