well the bloke that had them on the red ke55 had no camber issues its all been done propley the ke55 was a hillclimb car... all i needs is maybe 4 new brake pads and two new ra60 front disks and then its all sweet lol and it also has pedders lowering spings on the strutes yeww.. cheers shaun

hay all i can get a hold of ra60 brakes and strutes and calipers to fit right in my ke30 is it worth it I'm paying only 100 bucks for the two so will it make a differences as i now have a 5k in my ke30 will ra60 strutes brakes and calipers be adequit. i can all so get a w50 gear box and a tail sharft to fit in a ke30/ke55.. but the box does'nt fit a k motor coz the bloke I'm getting it from had a celica 2l motor in the ke55. whats the box and tail sharft wroth will i be able to sell it?? all it need is a k to w bellhouesing (rare) cheers shaun

Hay all I recently bought a 5k that had a blowen head gasget!!! I have now went and got the 5k head shaved. And got a new head gasget. I put the head on myself and done the following!!! 20nm allround 40nm allround and 62nm allround and followed the right paten.. Now I have put the 5k in my ke30 its all going everythink is good but the motor is making a funny sound through the exhaust it maks a poping noise???? Hear ill show you Rmmmmmpoppoprmmmpoprmmpoppoppoprmmmmmpoprmpoprmmrmmm haha lol And when I put my foot flat it just splaters and sorta choks its self??? I don't think its the head gasget coz I have been driven it to work and I've been checking the oil cap a lot to see if any white milky oil is on the bottom of the cap but its clean lol. And its blowing a lot of white smoke???? Cheers thanks to all that can help me.. Shaun And if any one is from the wollongong area and will like to help me ill pay cash lol.

hay guys i just wanted to no do i need a brake upgrade for my 1978 ke30 if I'm going to put a 5k motor in ????? (my car was originaly a 3k) Would it be a good i dear if i put stock ke55 brakes in my ke30!!! I no ke55 brakes are bigger but do thay make a difference????? cheers shaun.

yeah when i give it abit it just splaters some time's its also idoling as 1100 rpm and i can't seem to get the idol lower (the idol skrew is all the way out) my be timeing problems! and i think I'm leaking some oil from the side of the sump under the fuel pump!!!! (but that mite be the fuel pump valve leaking) if it goes boooom then ill have to put my 5k in sooner lol cheers thanks sofar guy's.

hay guy's last week i drive my ke30 down the coast for the week (new year's) and when i got back i noticed when i pulled my oil cap of my 3k motor it was blowing white smoke and it smelled like fuel really bad this has never hapend to me before. is this bad?????? cheers shaun.

ok this pic i will show is my electronic dizzy its on my 3k now it was originaly off a 4k i found at the wreckers will it fit my 5k??? and will my 3k water pump fit the 5k??? cheers shaun..

hey guy's i have two 5 speed boxes for a k motor at home and i want know whats better....one is a ke55 5 speed and the other box i got told its a celica 5 speed!! how do i tell whats better???? whats the difference????? i know one is definately a ke55 5 speed but i don't if the other one is a celica 5 speed if you have any info please let me know thanks heaps cheers shaun.. :yes: Ok here are some pic's Thay are both 5 speeds the dirty looking box is on a 3k and the clean looking box is on a 5k look at where the shifter sits on the gear box's!!! the gear box on the left i had to cut a hole in the floor to fit the shifter and the box on the right fit's in the original 4 speed shifter hole i no thay are 5 speeds can some one tell me what thay are off??? (e.g ke55,ke30 and ke70) cheers shaun

ok my car is a 3k 5 speed and I'm puting a 5k 5 speed in will the 3k parts eg dizzy,fuel pump,and all the over assesories fit on to the 5k??? cheers thanks for the info sofar.

Hay guy's i was just wondering if any one has a cold air intake on a k motor??? And if thay can show us some pic's?? I have one on it cost me $20 from the wreakers its abit short but. i need some more pipes to finish it off and this is what it looks like sofar. :P Cop's pick you up for any think these days lol.. my bro got a $250 fine coz he though his back tyer was flat so he swerved to see what the go was with the tyer!!! and a copa seen him do it so thay pulled him up and had fined him. lol and it was ony a big flatspot in the tyer that made it sound like it was flat!! yeah sweet as I'm pretty shore that all/some of the bosch model alternators fit in easy as.. xe falcon thats a 60a is an it???? i want to put on a vl turbo 80a as i can get a lot of vl parts!! it should be easy..
