not to sure but it needs new one's tho pads are good but up to you if you use them beauc there all ready to go in. i had them in my car just fitted but i needed a smaller LCA ke70!!! or addjustible camber top's wheels where like this /---\ only alittle bit but would be good for track use. when you came over they where on the car. if you want have a look around and see what will be a a good brake upgrade I'm sure someone will fill you in ra40,ra60 and corona upgrades cheers shaun

hey beauc nice to see it all coming along good just wanna no have you fort about what kinda brake upgrade you will be doing i still have the ra40 celica brakes if you want them they allready have the ke30 top hats and lowering spring and all fit in nice just need new disk's and some pads let us no cheers shaun

well hear step to step *2 super strong bricks too chock the front wheels (to stop it from rolling away) *get a good jack!!! *drain diff oil!!! *jack it up from the midle of the diff be cairfull!!!! *get two jack stands put them under the car and then lower jack take the jack out!!!! *take the 2 back wheels offffff. 2 drums offfff aswell *now you'll see 4 bolts at each end of the axles to undo spin alxel to it line up with bolt now undo!! both sides! so 8 bolts! *when this is done pull the axle's out about 20cm (so they pull out of the diff centre) *oh remember to keep bolts :blush: *now 8 bolts on the diff hat undo them *you will see 4 bolts remove them ohh and i think there is 2 spacers (they look like a chicks braclets) remember where they go *now pull on the diff centre like a monkey untill it comes free remeber to catch it (don't let it hit the ground) *now take it to a welders shop and say i want 15 sticks melted in her and say its for a rally car :) have funn cheers shaun

wooo nice thanks for the info :blush: but got me think so i can just bolt girlocks on with no mods???? i can get these cheap :) at the moment it has sumitomo on it? and and and i head some think about bandix holden rear sport pads!!!! fit on the front of ke**'s???? do these pads fit both girlocks and sumitomo?? any one no the part number?? or what kinda holden are they off?? :) looks like ill be putting some more stuff in the KB/FAQ :) CHEERS

hey all I'm just doing some work on the ke30 eg. new balljoints, front bearing's, disks and pads i went to the the brake and clutch shop and got some new rotors for the rolla had to get them orded in but some how the bloke got the wrong one's he got ke55 rotors and he reckons the ke55 rotors are a 1mm bigger then the ke30 rotors??? will they still fit on my ke30 struts and caliper??? or do i need to put the ke55 calipers on?? sorry just another stupid question :) cheers shaun

yeah mate when i had the stocko carb on i had to use the choke too but like i said my 32/36 weber didnt have a choke assembly when i got it lol :D but from what i can remember on my old 3k i had a stocko carb with a choke assembly on it but my choke cable wasent attached to the choke on the craby it was attached to the excelerator cable :jamie: lol old man before me must off don't some mods :D cheers mate good luck

The ultimate versions of both the 2TG and 18RG were made by TRD- they were known as the 151E and 152E respectively and came with 16 valve heads, both were available in carburetor (50mm Mikunis) and fuel injection (mechanical Denso) models. There was also a 150E 16-valve version of the 3K / 4K engines. These 16 valve heads were the forerunners of today's 4AG, 3SG, 7MG, and 2JZG engines. These were race only non-production heads, with heavily modified blocks. The 152E race engine was used for US Toyota's early back-to-back victories in desert/stadium racing and IMSA GTU events. yeah I'm up for new rotors anyway mine are to thin! i was going with the ra40 upgrade but incounted way to many problems so just leveing stock ke30 brakes but new bearings,rotors,pads and fix up the calipers abit umm yeah your right ke diskes are only 10mm maybe there not vented :)

Hey mate just to let you no i have a 32/36 weber on my 5k and from what i can remeber i have no choke assembly at all. It never came with one car still starts fine drives fine. just on a cold morning sounds a little rough but when warm fine :) hope this heaps you? what car/motor is it going on??

hey all my 5k build is being put on hold for now as the 30 needs loveing eleswere (body and paint) my dad allways told me if it works leve it alone!! well thats what I'm doing for now ill build the 5k later :) ok the last couple of week ive been think :wink: the rolla needs some new paint ive been buying some stuff so i can do some body work i can get ahold of a spray booth and ive allready got the paint altra white it is C= now plains for the car I'm going old skool with the white body red 15in stockies with the white walls :D wish me luck dam rust repair :yes: cheers shaun

well found out today it is a mazda rx2 there off :dance: there not going to fit mmm i no what you mean irokin and yeah it'll probly be to much stuffing around i no simons are to much $$$$ to buy (but if for it would sorta cheap to just buy 4 new or second hand rim inserts to put in place of the old one's witch are a different stud patten) thanks for your help :oh what a nissan feeling! :irokin cheers shaun
