what motor is it mate??? I'd advise a set of extractors and a 2inch or 2 and 1/4 inch full exhaust to make it flow better, then add a webber and you should see some form of gain,

hey guys and girls more mechanically minded than i, i have a bog stock 5k in my daily and it idles at just under 2000rpm i am wondering wtf is causing it to do it, i have tried turning the idle mixture screw out and to no avail it still idles at 2grand, i wouldn't mind the high idle if it had a really pissed off cam in it but it doesn't :( . But the fuel bill hurts my wallet and it's thin enough as it is, so if you guys/girls could rack your brains and throw some ideas up to try to bring the idle down i'd be cheering :yes: Cheers

lol only 4 man, but it actually got to a point where it was ready to hit the road (and actually did hit the street for afew test drives) and get roadied, But my old girl f@$ked that and the white 71 needed a new heart lol, anyways lets not anrgue and be friends :P hahahaha
