i read up that hiace van difs can be used in corollas. how diferent are they to hilux difs?

for an Sr20Det conversion. you are able to use, s14 x members, lca, tie rod ends etc (basically whole front end, suspension) into ke70, would this make the conversion a lot easier therefor the sr20 would bolt straight onto mounts. and how easy would it be to convert all the suspension. eg straight bolt in slight adjustments cutting fabricating etc. thanks, Jamie.

alright cheers man, and i looked before the bottomplate were the s[ring sits has more clearance of the tire then a ke70.

How do i tell the diference between ae86 struts and ke70 struts.

what would i benefit from doing this, apart from a bit of arm exercise.:P

yeah I'm pretty well mechanicly minded, wouldnt 4k jets give less power therefor pumping less fuel.?

I'm not entirly sure, the car is chewing upalot of fuel. i got 350 ish kms out of a full tank

well i can get a rebuild kit for $40 but i was thinking instead of rebuilding just upgrade the carb because I'm looking for more power.

I need a rebuild on my 5k carb. instead i was just thinking of upgrading, but I'm not sure what to. 40Dcoe or 32/36 webbers or what else is there? if any one could give imputs that would be great.

i have a 5k in my corolla. its completely stock and i can chirp 2nd gear pretty well. I'm getting extractors and webbers for it later on and probably make a straight through exhaust. but from the power output I'm getting in the wet should kick out no problems.
