  1. yeah the e series box. You can see the difference when it rolls onto the trailer that its a lot heavier than or 82 with 4age.
  2. Hey just wondering how much heavier our car is the the g'box and 4AGZE as opposed to a standard 4age and g'box?
  3. u can do motorkhana from 12, which is a great way to build the skills before they get on a track with some other drivers of questionable skill levels. Then khanacross at 14 to work on the faster car control aspects.
  4. Wagga Wagga, I drive a 2008 Corolla Conquest and I've also got a 2006 Yaris, a 1997 ZR Celica with every option and a Holden SLR/5000
  5. just found the youtube vid of the skyline hitting the wall. The sweeper did seem to be very low grip on the day.
  6. hey mitch, i thought u were coming to winton. was bloody hot day. are u doing the next motorkhana?

  7. Got the vids working and have started posting them to youtube. Sorry but no sound so I'll get that fixed for the next event. Bit boring with no sound but you can see how hard it pulls driving the whole track in 3rd gear. Look at the 2.22min mark as Pete has an exciting moment going round the sweeper.
  8. just to be clear too this was not a drift day. He lost it coming off the sweeper and then nailed the wall that faces the highway. Kind of a odd place to crash.
  9. Just got back from Winton. The engine ran well but we had severe brake fade the entire day from the 2nd corner. The brand new pads were down to the metal on the 5th run. We struggle to keep pads up to it and think its the rotors tearing the pads to bits. 1st set we had at Wakefield were hand made ones with same material they use in a local blokes V8 Brute Ute. The pedal was ok but they lasted about 50km. Ronkey said he too had similar exp with the same brand rotors on one of his cars. The syncro's being buggered made going back to 2nd very slow as the double clutch heel and toe had to be so so slow to avoid mashing the gears. So we drove the whole track in 3rd gear...lucky its got a lotta torgue. Next for us is put the standard rotors back on, try another brand of race pads and head to sdma hillclimb in May. We'll have the 82 out doing the local khanacross/motorkhana stuff in the meantime. I took some vids and once I get them off the camera I'll post them to youtube.
  10. This poor soul stacked his GTR in about the 1st session. Looks like a few $$$ to fix it up. It was road registered too.
  11. Our AE82 is a tidy little unit too and was professionally built in Brisvagas by KCF Rallysport. We have since rebuilt the motor with some high lift Wade camshafts.
  12. whiteline rear sway bar, neoprene bushes on front bar, got all the camber we can get on it. The cage made a big difference to how it handled too.
  13. Me and my mate bought a AE92 with 4agze from Canberra. We touched up the paint Took the interior out bolted in some coil overs Went for some new rotors and took it to Wakefield 2 weeks later. Next we had a cage built and welded in bought a new cobra seat and a sports steering wheel Put on a full set of mags and took it Winton This is how it looks bogged at Winton (my son not used to no ABS) Still a few more things to tidy up on it but its coming along well and it sits at home next to our AE82.
  14. hey mitch, crowbar and i will be there in the supercharge corolla this time. cya there, is dad taking the v8supercar too?
