  4. yep thats him and as well know anyone over 5'8 is deformed :P
  5. is that a humpy in the shed in the background?
  6. Tim from the car club, not sure if you've met him, he runs a VL Wagon on the track and a Fraud Festiva in the local club events is organising it. He's got some friends with 2 skyline GTR's and a Evo X that are in our team. They are from canberra and sydney
  7. hey anyone going to the Wakefield 6hr enduro? We are in a team and looking forward to it.
  8. nice looking project, keen to see how it turns out, love that coupe shape
  9. The old Corolla goes round there in 1.45 stuck in 3rd too
  10. Mitch we all race our cars for fun so if you have a great fun day taking it for a fang around the track one day who cares if some people think it doesnt look shiny, i think it looks pretty dam tuff and you have achieved the look you were aiming for. I'd love to see how it goes round winton, of course I wouldn't get in it with you behind the wheel coz your a crazy ass driver...but I'd still like to see it and race you :rolls:
  11. hey red i sense some disbelief about the supercar? its very real, think its the ex anthony tratt toll car. Check the natsoft official timing on this link and you'll see Mitch Pullen AUV8supercar and his laptime. http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/results.cgi?27/03/2011.WIN.S1
  12. i like your signature pic, think i took that pic :y:
  13. i think that donar car looks in better shape that the race car mitch
  14. Yes its AASA, i havent scrutineered it for circuit racing so you could be right on that regulation.
  15. you don't have to have a cage to run at winton. It doesnt matter how somethng looks its if its safe mechanically and with appropriate seat, seat belt, extinguisher etc. I've scruitneered that car a couple of times for events already and it aint pretty but it gets a tick mechanically.
  16. July eh, well that will give you a couple of months to practise for the bit Corolla showdown when I get back :)
  17. did u see this post http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/52549-eoi-supercharged-5k-ke30-3500/page__pid__535273#entry535273
  18. It will be interesting, when will you get it to Winton? I'm going to be overseas for 2 months starting in August
  19. its rated at 150hp on the japanese scale which is a bit overated compared to the australian standards. To drive feels like its got about 120-30hp but its got bulk torque and pulls hard from any speed. Why do you ask grasshopper?
  20. This is one of my little old cars too (37yrs old) though I still own this one
  21. Pulled the gear box out yesterday to get the syncro's replaced. Should be even quicker now we don't have to just leave it in 3rd gear :)
  22. Best car I ever owned TA23 1976 with 2T. Had a 2TG for a while in it but it went harder with the twin 40mm webbers and Wade cam on the 2T. I used to race it a bit at Winton. Check out the safety standards back in those days, the flag marshal sat on a chair right on the track edge and then stood on the road to wave the finish. Here I am in motorkhana with it, won this event too. and then I let an old girlfriend drive and this is what happened on the first time I let her behind the wheel.
  23. any news from your dad, has gone to any of the races yet?
  24. you have been busy, i'm worried though that you don't have enough V8 blocks lying round in that workshop :rolls:
