  1. Looks like you have been busy. Are you coming to next Winton day? you and mitch can have the battle of the KE70's
  2. Thank you to both of you that took the time to help out. We found it. One of the fuses that looked ok on reinspection was actually blown and she is up and running....big relief :bash:
  3. Did the check engine light come on when it wasnt firing?
  4. Is the fusable link the one of that pack on the postive terminal of the battery? will check the spark, but the no light for check engine makes me think its the computer.
  5. We were helping a new twincam owner today to do his timing. He shorted out the wrong wires on the service plug (see pic below) and now the check engine light does not come on and the engine cranks but wont start. We checked all the fuses but still nothing. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks.
  6. I'll need to check what size rotor it is but its a lot bigger than standard. We run 15" wheels with a 35" offset and a 2mm spacer. The disc is all centred and working great.
  7. Our 82 is having a major rebuild. The block has been bored out, tunnel bored and cleaned up. New forged rods, polished crank, ARP studs etc all going in and we've scored a Wolf computer to make it all run sweet with the Wade camshafts. Forum member and supercharged 4K driver Mitch from http://hpracing.com.au/ is doing the work.
  8. Hi a mate of mine said he seen a red KE70 being trailered up from Melb for this so I thought it must have been you. You will have to bring it out next tampered day when we get back down there.
  9. We finally got out 4AGZE AE92 back on the track, this time fitted with a Bazda (aka Barry) supplied Wilwood brake upgrade kit bought from here on the forums. We used to burn a set of pads out, right back to the metal after the 4th session at a Winton day. This time with Barry's kit fitted there is still over 50% left and it was a stinking hot day and we thrashed the brakes at every corner. The stopping power improvement was so massive I'm still trying to get my head around how to drive the car now as it stops so dam hard. I've also been annoying Barry with constant braking questions and he has been nothing but helpful and really responsive everytime. So if your thinking of buying one of these kits you can buy with confidence from Barry.
