hmm well sounds like i might need to do some more research
-
i think it might just get under the limit. the only reason i was going to use the 2rz's was because they were basically free, the 3rz's are worth a bit more coin. a 2rz would make a substantial difference compared to an old 18r-c though

handy location? can't really see living out in the stix being handy  what you smoking carlos?
-
so according to the guy i rang, any car under 1100kg you multiply the weight by 2.5 and thats the engine capacity you can legally run? if the car is over 1100 you can multiply the weight by 4 and thats the capacity you can legally run, does that sound right?

cool will have to give him a ring and see what we can sort out. i can get 2 2rz's for about 100 bucks just need to build one good one from the two
-
Hey guys just wondering if a 2rz could be legally fitted to my rt118 wagon? And also is there a website or forum that explains any of this? Cheers Brendan

hey there guys and gals of rollaclub! for a while now i have mentioned the mechanic i pretty much idolize :P zowie (aka nerfbat) just bought his pristine little ke10 that he had planned to set up as a group n racecar.....needless to say i think zowie just about jizzed his pants when he saw it :P . i have always mentioned matt in my threads when it came to anything i couldnt do myself, so i thought i might start a thread about him and the business. obviously the business is called Morgan Park Performance, and he can pretty much do anything. he is an absolute wizard when it comes to mazdas and rotaries, but he is basically a walking encyclopedia on any form of car. ella, blzbub and nerfbat have all had the priveledge of meeting matt in person, so they know what I'm on about, and not only that he is a little bit crazy when it comes to modifications :P . in all the time i have owned cars, i have never met a mechanic who you can actually have a conversation with (as zowie would know since we spent the best part of an hour talking about racecars, toyotas, and all the fun stuff. I'm not really sure where i was going with this thread, but i think if you ever need help with an interesting or unusual job, matt is the man to see :) here are a few photos of the cars he has owned/done work on. i swore i had more than that, but i can always get more. for the guys that have been there feel freeto put up what i have forgotten......just a heads up....the v8 galant shall be twin boosted by april for the chrysler/valiant meet
-
glad to see the old girl is in good hands :) i think i may need to organise an rc day trip to matts?
-
so are we going ahead with the maiden voyage of the t bar cruise? need to find out asap so i can organise to get saturday off if i need to

depending on what kind of lock nut it is mate, there are a few ways you can do it. to start off, if they are the kind where the lock nut key sits into the nut, and it looks abit like a 4 leaf clover.....ʞ©$ɟ them off, they are the most horrible lock nut you can get. either welding a socket or a steel bar and turn it with a stilsen wrench is about all you can do with those. if the lock nut key actually fits over the lock nut like a socket, some wheel shops will actually have a special socket set that has teeth inside them. you just have to tap it on the nut the as you turn it grips onto the nut, very handy tool :) if none of these work, just find a socket with the closest size to the nut, belt it on and use a ratchet or bar to get it off.....really a prick of a job mate feel bad for ya. if you were closer i would do it for ya :P

hells yeah, been too long since i have been on cruise/car meet......getting pumped need to get the wagon ready!

just a quick question, ella has tole me what its called but i can't remember, the heater pump that runs off the engine belt? the hoses have been blocked off, just wondering if there is any point to it? or can i take it out without any consequences? also will it affect the vehicles roadworthiness? also, with the weber, the corona runs a slightly different throttle setup, has anyone had any trouble hooking one up before?
-
what time will you plan to head up zow? should meet up with you guys in tbar and convoy it up :P
-
i may sound like an idiot and this could be completely irrelavent, but did you put new points in when you did the spark plugs?

Toyota Stickers For Side Of Car
madKE35coupe replied to madKE35coupe's topic in Automotive Discussion
not the best pic but the blue rx2 is the one matts sticker guy put on a few days ago. havent had a chance to catch up with him as of yet, but i can get his number off matt next time i am up there. are you thinking of a nissan and toyota sticker carlos? you can go either way i guess have nissan or toyota written in, or nissan or toyota badge at the back? possibilities are endless  -
do we usually have a fairly good pre 86 turn up even with all the newer cars around?
-
so have we come to a decision on when/what/where we are going/doing on this cruise?
