hey guys i found a RT118 corona wagon for sale. its a 4 speed manual, with a 18R-C engine, and its complete with only minor rust. are these a good buy? and its $300

not sure exactly what it is, but i know its getting a rotary and its going to be some form of racecar.....the wheels are 4x114 and 13x8 steelies....mad dish ;) the white one next to it is an rx2 or 3 i think? the guy that runs the shop is matt the mad rotary man....also the one who owns that clean lil ke10 i posted up earlier on in the year

not sure if its just me but every corolla from ke30-ke70 that i have been in all have a distinct odour, and it smells glorious. my rolling 35 shell still smells like 'corolla'. worst smell would have to be this interior cleaner which is still at my work after countless run ins.......we call it cat piss, and with good reason. one of the guys at work was pissing us off so we decided to spray some in his heater vents...... ;)

i might just have to meet at the starting point, both meeting places are a bit further away......unless in the mood to get into city driving mode ;)

what about people coming from west? I'm assuming i will be the only one coming from this far away?

don't worry twin spinna the whole thing is full of rust not worth the amount to get it fixed. could find a clean one cheaper

might be able to tag along in the rex, just gotta get a few things fixed before a long trip

i went abit crazy with the paint.....i guess i can just go straight black if i don't like it later. best thing about rattle can paint job ;)

hey dave, welcome to rollaclub! I'm from warwick, so not too far away from you guys. if you find that autosol isnt your kind of thing, try this stuff called brite shine. they sell it at super cheap auto for about $12 a can. i bought one nearly 3 years ago and i havent even used half of it yet.

change of plans too much work to fix body up for road use now converted to scrub basher/stump jumper.......will keep you guys updated on progress/demolitions ;)

hey guys as some of you may know i bought a mx83 cressida for my partner to get around in. i hadnt really taken much notice but it seems to be using a bit more water than usual, and the reservoir fills up to the top.......and doesnt go back into the radiator when it cools. I'm pretty sure it isnt a blown head gasket, which was my first thought, since the car still runs and drives as well as the day i bought it. are there any other reasons why this could be happening? its a 7m-ge too. any help would be great. cheers brendan
