alright thanks for letting me know mate, i have since contacted the bloke and am returning the head and that gear for a refund. thanks again :blush: yeah its the dished piston engine! was either looking for a dished piston 4k head or 5k head. so you reckon a flat top piston 4k head would work or not? sorry for the questions!

hey guys well i bought a 5k head tonight, I'm fairly new to cars so i don't know everything, and i saw something i havent seen before and I'm not sure if it is repairable. below is a picture of the head i bought and one of, one cylinder in particular which is the one in question, as said above i want to know what happened to it, how its caused and if its repairable. cheers for any help guys. thanks tom :D

4 door mk2 escort, rusty little thing but loved it to death, handbrake wasnt great and it rolled itself into a house while i was eating dinner :lolcry: (yes i know i should have left it in gear but i was young and silly) and cars being made like they were at that age, just put a dent in the rear quarter and in the boot/bumper and did over 30k of damage to the house, which only cost me 200 dollars in excess because i wasnt driving the car! thats my story. cheers tom

spotted a brown ke25 on anzac highway today about lunchtime! also spotted scott last week at hallett cove shopping centre last thursday night in the wagon, gave you a thumbs up in the carpark mate!
