and would a fwd clutch be the same as a rwd clutch

hey soo i found a rod and thats all sorted but i think I'm missing the bits from inside the bell housing i have a thrust bearing a clutch fork thingo in there anything else besides the clutch and pressure plate i need inside there it just doesnt seem right and witch way does the clutch go with the flat bit not facing the engine or does it face it i put it in the only way it looked right but the pressure plate plates seem to be flat. I don't know if thats right or not but i just thought i would give as much info as i could.

hey guys I'm posting up once again because i have made another thing wrong with my conversion ha ha, i have lost the bit that goes from the slave cylinder to the clutch fork does anyone one have one lying around or know where i could get one and if anyone has a picture of one because i don't even know what it looks like I'm lost. Now i think its serious ive finally put everything on ready to go whoo and i was putting on the engine mounts and i was missing a new bolt soo i decided to put the old one back in there.....mistake as i was tightening it i heard it snap and it just got all loose and came out dammit and i was soo close how would i take it out?

ey mate i have been doing some research on my 4age conversion and i asked the great witzl and he said "KE30 has the fuel tank behind the rear seats in the boot doesnt it? If so - no need for a surge tank!! EFI high pressure pumps are gravity fed, so if you mount the VL fuel pump just below the level of the bottom of the fuel tank (or at the bottom of the fuel tank), it will work FINE. Heaps of people have done this in the past. Its just a for a 4age, its not like you are chasing massive power and doing track days... so you don't need the surge tank really." I hope this helps it was a great help for me and the witzl is a reliable source and i figured i would let you know to save you from spending heaps of dollars on stuff that isnt really needed and ive seen vl turbo fuel pumps on ebay for 89 bucks on ebay soo if you have some questions on the conversion let me know and i probably can help you since mine is almost done. cheers

so say I'm using a Vl turbo fuel pump and no surge tank is it necessary to use a intank pump? btw this is only temporary just to get it through rego before i have to go for the blue slip cheers

hey guys I'm halfway through doing my engine conversion and i was wondering what fuel pump i should use ive heard of people using vl turbo pumps but my engine is gonna be pretty stock so i don't wanna go overboard with it and I'm using my orignal ke30 fuel tank so i need a external one cheers

what happens when they let go they wouldnt get through the bellhousing and then through the floor would they? and how often would this happen?

ahh no wonder i couldnt get it off the after taking it down to the local wholesale suspension i paid them 40 dollars to do what i couldnt undo 2 nuts but they had loctite on them little buggers that why i was destroying the nut before it gaveway YAY finally done the front and its taken me all day lol thats why I'm not a mechanic lol cheers taz for help all day lol and converting it to my language hahaha and thanks anastasios for the tip i did it and it works a treat fcuk yeaaa cheers boys

hey mate ive got one more question....for now lol i can't get the hex thingo on the top of the shock off ive been hitting it with a punch but it doesnt seem to turn is it threaded cuz it just doesnt seem to move or is it like a pop thingo? (excuse my very technical terms like thingo and doodad i use them alot)

what was the gearbox out of?? dellow said that to fit a supra box in i have to do a whole heap of mod's

hey mate was it hard getting the supra gearbox in there did you have to make aftermarket mounts or give the tunnel a massage with the ol hammer?

hello all I'm new and I'm trying to do a ke55 project so any help would be good lol I'm am trying to source a manual gear box for a 4age in the ke55 and i can't find any 86 sprinter box's lol i don't know why hahaha what other cars do they come in? ive heard they come in a 84 corona??? but I'm not gonna buy one to find out and if anyone know's where i could get one close it would help heaps ive been trying to source one ive called every wreckers i know about lol not even SSS automotive have one.
