  2. next on the list . 10percent tints , 5 percent on the rear quaters , polishing the rims , and respraying the mesh part on the rims . and puttin the rear quater window moulds on

  5. sorry 2 be a noob , but whats OP and IMO ? and were u talkin about the way my combiniation is setup that wouldnt induce a swirl 2 remove air from the surge tank
  6. hey pplz doin a surge tank setup in my ae86. just want to make sure ive got all the lines and fittings were there supposed 2 be , can any1 tell me if this set up would be right the top fitting is the return fuel overflow that goes back down 2 the main tank the 2nd from top is the return fuel line that comes from the motor the 3rd is the feed from the intank pump that fills up the surge tank the 4th bottom fitting is what connects 2 the external pump and goes 2 my motor . is this the right combination cheers guys
  7. also if some1 can tell me the best size combination for this setup would be , I'm guessing 2and a quater with a 3inch cannon at the end 2 quit the thing down a little bit and give her a more crispy note
  8. hey pplz just completed my 4ac to 4age 100kw 16v conversion . i got a set of extractors 4-2-1 that end up siting along side the end of the gearbox . i took it for a drive , besides the extremly loud freaky noise it makes with no exhaust , the car absolutly went no were . I'm guessing this is because my car needs the full exhaust system , and it doesnt have back pressure . i mean it was just loud for nothing , had no pull had really nothing more then the 4ac motor i had in there b4 . i no the motor isnt anything fasttttt but some1 please tell me its only exhaust i have to do 2 get the power from this thing

  10. hey peoples . getting more and more frustrated daily . i just completed a 4ac to 4age 16v conversion . i got the wiring harness all connected and all the plugs in . my delema is when i wired up the last pinout out (14pins) i can't get any signal from that side of the computer , its al dead , i checked if theres power from igntion goin 2 the ecu and there is , so my problem is y isnt there power leaving the ecu 2 the motor and gettin things going? ive checked fuses etc etc . can i have a blown ecu , but the ecu was completly running before , is it possible just 4 a ecu to f@$k up like that? what checks can i do , or any ideas u can give me guys would be great thanks 4 ur time again

  15. hey peoples i was told that i can see use my standard accelerator cable from my 4ac on my 4age . am i doin it right? or do i need 2 replace it? also if i need 2 change it , what car should i take it off for a direct fit any help would be good as always thanks pplz

  17. another quick question guys , i have a intank walbro fuel pump lying around , can i use that as my lift pump and it will work?
  18. thanks 4 all the info guys ima go surge tank for sure , with a lift pump and vl pump . can any1 tell me what kind of lift / pre pump 2 use? is facet any good? do i need 2 get any psi minimum or liters per hr minimum?

  20. hey peoples . just dropped in a 16v in my ae86 I'm a lil confused , do i need 2 run a lift pump like i hear some people talkin about cause i was under the impression that i just run a external fuel pump like a vl pump or something . do i need 2 open up the tank and put in anything in there? any advice or links would be good peoples thanks in advance
  21. locked her up for the night , couldnt be bothered now running the harness things now 2 do are: external fuel pump setup . figure out all the wiring for the alternator etc etc find or buy a set of extractors then crank her over pretty much
