  3. Don't you miss the feeling of going sideways???!!!!!! I know I do. Just put in the hard work and get it on the road. You can do it. Nice Charade.....best little cars to wiz around in. Here's a link to my old G102 Charade http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?a...si&img=3626
  4. Unreal metal work mate. Nice wagon.
  5. Cheers Guys, I'm looking to go white....but haven't made a firm decision. Try to stick with an original colour. I'll keep ya posted.
  6. Here are some more pics of the body works and the primer coat done today.
  7. Hi Guys, I've been loving the RollaClub community and advice from memebers and the forums. I thought its about time I post some pics of my KE20 project. The project started in 2003 when I removed the 3k, rebuilt a 4k and slapped it in. Also locked the diff and started the body work. For some reason in about 2005 life got to busy and didn't have much time for the beast, so it got moved into storage. 4 years later, missing the urge to go sideways now driving everyday lancer wagon, the corolla pasion has sprung back into gear and the car has come out of storage. :S
  8. Funky rear windows....... good luck with the rust rust rust repairs. Hope it all goes well.
  9. As you said Philbey, a sheet of 2mm mild steel cost me 10 bucks exactly. and is a pretty big sheet. I welded up one hole and it worked well. Cheers
  10. Thanks greenmac, Thats being resourseful. I don't have any spare care panels but I found a place in locally that sell mild steel off cuts. They seemed to be pretty helpful.
  11. Hi Guys, While I was working on the car last nite I found some ugly spots of rust above the fire wall near the air vents behind the bonnet. :lolcry: I'm looking to weld them up tomorrow but unsure where to buy some steel plate offcuts and what kind of metal plates to use. I looking to cut out the cancer and I'll be using my Mig welder to install new plates. What sort of metal sheets are best to use? Cheers Vinnie
  12. Love the wagon Boost+K........and nice drivin!!!!! When you were running the SU on the 4k....was it a bastard to start in the mornings? Thinking of doing a similar setup and not sure if SU or weber is the way to go. Oh...what size SU were you running? Cheers
  13. Hi Guys, I've got a set of KE30 stock rims laying around (114.3) and I'm thinking of drilling them out to fit my KE20 (110). :) Has anyone had a go at this? It sounds pretty dodgy but its a cheap alternative. I guess if the hub holds the rim in place it will stop any play in the rim. Cheers Vinnie.
  14. I installed a set of blocks from rare spares.......they were meant to fit my ke20 but had to get larger u-bolts (custom made from suspension shop $25) and drill out the bottom plate cause the u-bolts were thicker and the cenering pin on the blocks didn't fit. I've seen a few guys that just get longer u-bolts made up and chock anything strong enough like timber or old leaf spring leaves chopped and welded.
