ok this is driving me nuts any ideas would be great.. ok problem is at idle it will be fine for a minute then idle just drops and engine starts to splutter and die for a few seconds to a minute then it will smooth out again and idle fine.. And the other thing when car is coasting and the revs are under 3000rpm its undrivable it coffs and splutters untill its under load then it clears out and excelerates.. ive tried changing the map senser, dizzy ive tried finding any vacume leaks i have changed the engine from big to small port so the only thing missing is the TVIS from the intake manifold all other bits are fitted

Ok i have a 4agze sitting here and I'm going to put it into my ae71 (auto) I'm looking for any info from anyone that has already done this and anything that could help me with the conversion Thanks in advance Craig

Thanks heaps guys i just drove the AE71 home with a hole in the diff where something wanted to leave in a hurry lol. wasnt making a very nice noise but it made it from rockingham to kwinanna at 40kmh people don't like following you at that speed they get angry lol.. now just need to go get the KE70 diff from myalup and I'm all set

Do you mean with the ke70 diff or the T18 diff? I'm putting the ke diff into the ae if that helps and its an AE71 aswell not AE70 as i thought

hey ppls i wouldnt mind coming along to the cruise to meet the perth crew but my KE70 isnt very flash at the moment needs alot of work but it will get there slowly just need all the gear to put the GZE into it and ill be happy lol
