so you mean like t-18 mounts welded to an ae71 crossmember and then bolt into rolla?

i have a year til my P's anyway so i gotta a fair while to do it up..

thats probabily the worst bit on the car.. the rest is ok.. its a project car, would be boring without things to fix :y:

The other day i Bought my first car a 1982 KE70 SE which is slowly being modified, when i looked it over at the time i noticed it had this badge on the back but payed no real attention to it.. Later on i discovered its TTR which is TOYOTA TEAM RACING or "TOTALLTY TUFF ROLLA" as i like to think of it :blush: But anyway what i was wondering is what is/was ttr is it the earlier TRD and why can i not find any information or any reference to TTR? Cheers

yeah cool.. i'lll look into it all, i might rebuild one with my dad while driving the 4K round then when its done drop it in.. Is there much work to get a 2TG in?

i had also hear a 1200 head (not sure what type) on 4KC goes alot better than than the 1300 head because it has higher compression, is this true? and which head gasket would you use?

oh ok right thanks guys, ill be on the look out for an AE71, its hard enough finding a ke70 though, are the AE71's harder to find?

this may sound stupid whats the difference between a KE70 and an AE71?

i've seen a 3.6 commodore v6 in the front of a ke55.. man that was fast piece of kit

thanks for your responses i gethered it would be tight as my mate had a hard time fitting into his 84 celica.. i had heard they were like a 7mge which is why i starting thinking, it moves my brothers supra pretty good and it would be a different swap to the Sr20's and 4AGZE's everyone else is fitting if the 1GGE seems a painfull idea any thoughts on an engine like a 7mge that would be to hard to fit? I'm still in the process of finding a KE70, i have decided a 1GGE is the engine i wish to fit, how much work is involved? will a new tailshaft be needed? will the t50 gearbox fit in the ke70 tunnel? also what do i do about the mounts? Its probabily good adding that its a safe bet i will be buying a 4KC 1.3 if that alters anything And its worth adding that my dad is a mechanic and most work will be carried out by him Cheers
