Well its not a corolla, But at the moment i own a sa63 celica, rebulit 2sc motor, 15" rotas, extractors straight to lukey muffler, king springs, audio gear. Currently after a ke30 to start a 22re sc14 project.

22re 2tg 3tg 4age 7age and sr20 and have there moments

just wonderimg the chances of a datsun 1200 grill fitting a ke30? just for something different

Not entirely sure if this is where it should be but anyway.. does anyone else think it would be a good idea to be able to filter your location in the classifieds forums? i just think that it would be alot easier to find cars and items tasmania by being able to filter out other locations.. am i the only one? :)

G'day guys (: Just about to purchase a restored ke30 in the next week, i have had several corolla's in the past but ive decided ke30 is what i want to stick with. I am currently thinking of going with a 2S corona motor with a 5 speed manual transmition, I'm not interested in nissan motors or anything for this and i want to stick with a carburettored motor for ease of use :) just wondering what you guys think? the motor when new put out 97hp but this will eventually be turbo or supercharged. What I'm wondering is.. Will the 2s being a 2 litre have any drastic effects on the cars handeling? ill be trying to mount it lower as to keep the centre of gravity and what not.. also I'm presuming the motor will have to sit further forward if i was to use the stock tailshaft? will the stock diff be able to handle the extra 50 odd hp until i upgrade it later on? and lastly do you guys think its worth it? gday guys.. thinking of converting the rear drums to disk on a ke30 so i can run hydro handbrake and would just prefer to run disks.. is it a hard job? can i just get the front assembely off another ke30 and put it on the back? I'm guessing ill need a different brake master cylinder? ive been told that because its such a light car the disk brakes wont be as effective.. anyway cheers in advance |blink|

na id rather just do up the stock engine.. can't really be bothered swapping motor over.. don't really have the time either..

Yes i know its been mentioned before but the treads are old so anyway.. I'm thinking of putting a 3kc head on 4kc is it only the Bigport head which increases performance or any head? The port Size on the 3K head I'm looking at is 25mm ish I'm guessing its not a bigport? will this have much of a power increase? An will this be worth the $80 i'd be paying for the head? Cheers (:

hey guys currently i drive a ke70 with a k40 4 speed and i wish to convert it to a k50 5 speed A guy told me he had a k50 so i went and looked at it and yep looks like a winner except for one problem the clutch piece was on the other side?? is this the k50 or a different gearbox? and if it is a k50 how do i run it in my ke70?
