Thinking about 6kg/mm front springs and 4.5kg/mm rears with a 245mm free height

hopefully getting rears next week and then have a search around for fronts.

Ill get pictures over the weekend or next week.

    thanks for having a look.

  2. Since my Corolla has no bonnet rod to hold bonnet up (feel free to give me one)

was thinking about (for something different) getting some MX83 bonnet Gas Struts, for people that don't know the Cressidas have Gas Struts that hold the bonnet up instead of a metal road as the KE does.

Thinking all you would need to do is weld some metal braces on to screw the struts into.

But the Cressida bonnet is alot lighter than the KE bonnet, so this may cause problems with the struts actually working to hold the bonnet up. (MX73's have gas struts too, might be better than MX83 ones?)

    Has anyone done it before?

    Theories on it working?

    Thanks.

(in before you're an idiot, why don't you just get a rod from the wreckers)

  3. just thought id add, on the way home 2nite i got to the last round about near my house i got it full on sideways an I'm not braggin but it was awsum, and just as i went down the street my parents were there watching all of it lol an they were yellin at me to slow down but i no deep inside they just wish they drove a corolla like mine, hahahahaha lol love it

    keep rollin

    I'm laughing so hard hahahaha

    sig'd

  4. they don't fit in the front.

people think they do, but they do not.

you need to cut the springs in half to get them the right length.

cut springs in the front is dodgy.

rear is not so bad, the cut end sits nicely in the spring holder....thing... in the chassis.

make sure you get new shocks though, it will handle like pooooo if you just put in springs and not shocks.

have a search around, key word "short stroke shocks".

was thinking make a trip over to boostlosing and pick up some low/ultralow kings from a commodore driver for cheap.
