Still available (April 2022) Not going to lie, this is a massive project for anyone brave enough to take it on. I inherited this part-finished project a few years ago but don't have the time i would like to put into it and am needing the space in my garage. The car is in so many pieces, it is a jigsaw puzzle. Engine bay has been re-built. Toyota Hilux 4k engine installed. Was converting back to petrol from gas (not completed), but the engine did tick over when tested, though the timing will probably need to sorted. Interior all present and accounted for, just not all installed. Parts are all in varying degress of condition from "ok" to "good". Only a couple of small spots of rust on the main body. Ignition/locks will need re-barelling. All parts, plus some spares to choose between. Would like to sell the project as a whole rather than piece-meal. $500 ono, pick up only - please take everything. I have more pics of the parts, etc, just contact me and I will send them through. Godey guys, Toby here! I've purchased my second corolla ever after a 5 year gap between KE70's. I found her on these very forums, granny spec one owner, family car it soon became very clear this wasn't the average clapped out plate swapped and thrashed KE I'm used to seeing here in Adelaide so I snapped her up. With that said I paid $2000 for her. My grandfather who still thinks he needs to chauffeur me to every single car I look at wasn't please another old car that will be a money pit to fix all the problems he kept on telling me while I tried to assure him he was wrong. But in all truth he was half right, yes it would be a money pit but that wouldn't be because she has problems that are major, no it’s because I'm now older and a qualified mechanic with disposable income I had a dream of a mental 4AGE build. So I've got my list for my action plan first things first fix the only two spots of rust in the car "I'm currently waiting for the shop to do it already put the money aside was quoted $800 by lord of dings literally 3 doors down from my work so easy of access was a big part of going with them" while I was at ServiceSA transferring the title into my name and getting a year’s rego I went stupid and got myself some custom plates "slim front, square rear" with "KE SVNT" after this I found out my boss had a set of Defi gauges laying around so I got the set of 4 (oil temp/pressure, water temp and boost gauge "for some reason I hooked it up for the hell of it not like I need it on a currently stock 4k") for $100 with the controller I've also been known to troll "in for the fishing sense and mythical creature" the common cesspool that is known as Drift Sales SA on the old Facebook and so far I have acquired a pair of genuine DX taillights for $70 and a genuine Nardi Classic 330MM black leather on a black center that I'm happy with also the boss of my neighboring workplace has a friend whose son was into corolla's and he’s since moved overseas so his father has given me a big port 4AGE with a built bottom end and ported top end for $50 bucks "the value for it if it was scrap in his eyes I did offer to pay more but I think I’ll let it slide for now. Shortly after this event I was also given two old DCOE 45's made in Italy so I’ve been gifted a decent chunk of mechanical parts required for my plans as my 4age was always going to be carbureted stuff EFI I think, with that I’m also in full researching mode looking to run a cdi ignition as well with a chop wheel on the harmonic balancer to piss off the ugly dizzy being driven off the exhaust cam so the plan is: #1 fix the rust “well I’ve booked her in and have the money aside” #2 do the minor accessory stuff like the gauges and wheel #3 Find me some 15x7 or wider SSR Longchamp’s xr4 these are by far my favorite old school JDM wheels basically looking to go as fat as possible before rolling/over guards or flares are needed #4 do the flat front conversion and locate some genuine quad headlights and chrome bumpers #5 sort all the suspension and lower her properly I refuse to cut springs #6 worry about a LSD and disc break rear end #7 possibly a respray in the original color I actual like the gold and get the original pin stripping in yellow redone And finally my last once she’s already then drop the 4age once the brakes and suspension can handle it all Here's some assorted photos of the car as she currently is and the day I got her and the gauges, Nardi and dx tail lights and the big port head I’ve stripped and cleaned

Hey guys, I'm writing to see how many of you guys on here have a nice clean early model corolla that we will be able to hire (you drive your own car) for around 6 hours. The wedding will be held in Mclaren Flat on the 6th December this year. If anybody has any contacts, or car and the day free, please email me on [email protected] as I don't come on this site as much as I used to. To be more specific, I am after anything in nice clean condition, from 1960s-1980s, crown, Cressida, preferably corolla, show me what you got! You will definitely be getting paid for the day and your car will be part of our wedding! Thanks guys!

Hello boys and girls, So about a month ago (Late January!) I picked up two KE70s for a bargain 700 bucks! Unbelieveable! One auto, which I simply spent minimal change and cleaned up and use as a run around, the second: A 5 speed manual, blue, and might I add rare "XX" model which includes a boot and petrol flap release catch under the drivers seat, a taco dash, and velour interior! Wow how modern haha! I was stoaked. It had done under 180,000 and has been sitting since 2007. I later found out it CAN be registered! Woo! However, no where near roadworthy. So I've sunk my teeth into it and plan to focus purely on cosmetics and not bother with molestoring the running gear! I've already fixed up some central locking to make life less complicated. Naturally she came with all the rust and some. So I plan to fix that shit up and then respray her. In the meantime, I've decided to go over the interior with a few basic mods such as a deep dish steering wheel, dildo shifter, and a Pionner deck with Soundstream 6X9s because subs are douchebaggy. I do plan to tint this car as summer is a piece of shit on a hot day and she doesn't have air con, so any imput on tinting would be sexellent. I may even go to the extent of venetins. For that extra bit of shade. As for the exterior, I've already scored some CSA's which havent seen the road in many years, so I'm keen as ʞ©$ɟ to get those sorted with tyres. Again, imput is welcome. I would like to go dish, but this is a budget build. I haven't experimented with bolt on flares or guard rolling so I figured now is a good oppertunity try something out, input welcome. I'll probably get a madhouse lip, and a duck tail to suit it. I would preffer them painted fresh with the body instead of the cheap rubbishy plastic colour. So basically a few little mods to keep her tidy enough to avoid the wrong type of attention. I'm getting to the age where I track how much money I blow on cars so I'm setting a total budget of 2k. Safe to say I've blown through 500 at the least. But I'm off to a good start! So to conclude, I'm basically trying to build up a clean, fun little street car and get back into the 'scene' and make some new friends I can go out driving with. Stay tuned, more to come in the progressing weeks!
