Hey people, i am looking for advice on what to do with my ae71 that has been converted to the dreaded S-series Ae86 differential (for reasons beyond me). The diff is currently sounding like a helicopter is taking off from my back seat, and i have been quoted around $900AUD to get it refreshed with new pinion and carrier bearings. However, I'm wondering if its worth refreshing the S-series diff or just spending the money on putting a T-series/ standard Borg Warner/ other options into it as i intend to do some occasional wetpans and potential drift events in the future. Any advice would be appreciated!

AE86 Body Panels on a KE70 – Is It Possible? Hey everyone, I have a serious question and would really appreciate some input. In my country, AE86s are extremely rare, but we have plenty of KE70s available. I used to own one and now I'm planning to buy another. While comparing the trunk panel of a KE70 with that of an AE86 Corolla Levin, I noticed a striking similarity between the two. That got me thinking, is it possible to weld AE86 body panels onto a KE70 chassis? If anyone has experience with this kind of swap or build, I’d love to see some photos, reference videos, or any resources that could guide me. My goal is to create something visually and structurally close to an AE86. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hey guys just wondering how much a working standard diff and 5 speed gearbox out of a KE70 are worth at the current time? -
Ok so i put a 4k manual into my ae71 auto and got everything working but the motor won't crank over I know it's not the battery because I have tried another one and same result.The motor started when I riped it out of my ke70 and all the dash lights come on but won't crank.I have turned the motor over by hand so I know nothing is stoping the motor spinning.Anyone know what could cause this?
