Here's the story ive lost 7 points in the last 6 months or so and paid 2 of 3 fines,

 

Now here is the stupid part, I'm on my P's which is only 4 points and i lost 7 so thats loss of licence for 6 months because i was allready on good driving behavior bond thing, I just got a letter saying if i don't pay the last fine by 2 jan 2007 there will be a warrant for my arrest and go to jail for 4 days which is fair enough.

 

I havent recieved a letter saying hand in your licence or anything yet, Not to worried about actually taking me off the road. So doing the right thing i went down to the cop shop and told them whats happend and they said we didnt hear about you loosing your licence as in they didnt want to know about it. I also went to the government agent and they told me to go to the police about it.

 

So all the government wants is there few hundred $$$ and don't care if i still have my licence and don't really care about taking it off me. Thats the government for ya :y: :y: :y:

Most likely cos they're waiting for another fine to pay for some nice new furniture or something. :y:

Yeah true but i don't want them to say you didnt hand your licence in have this fine.

Well as for the "Pay or you'll go to jail". I too had that and that is cause your fine is over due. You can ride it till the last day, then call SPER and organise a payment plan.

Over due ? Thats the 1st letter they have sent to me about it.

If you look on the fine you got issued it usually says first and last notice - they don't give you warning - the issue of the ticket was the warning - you only get a nasty when you haven't paid it.

Yeah thats what i thought as well but on my first ticket i recieved 1 letter in the 1st two weeks, but I'm still unsure as what to do with my licence, they don't want to know about it but I'm on -1 point.

HAHAH Des u seen the old coffee machine they have in the local cop shop all they need is $100 more to get a new one..lol So that is the reason for letting you have your license still. as they heard u were making a AE70..lol

 

But I wouldn't complain to much that they have let you keep you license.

i got stopped 15 TIMES last year and 6 speeding tickets

once i got oklahoma plates on my cars, i haven't been stopped since......what do you think?

i was speeding ONE of those times btw

being a commercial driver now noone will hire me

here's one for ya.....;

I have now lost my licence so some one on here must have dobbed me in :P nah.

 

Its goooone for 6 months and i have pumped up my push bike tires.

You have a long ride ahead of you to get from Beaudesert to Logan or even Brisbane :P

 

When you get ur license back you will be fit tho.
