ke30det Posted May 8, 2007 Author Report Share Posted May 8, 2007 Ended up with a best time of 12.57 @ 113mph on street tyres. Blew the head gasket. Replaced the head gasket on the weekend with a metal COMETIC one. Now the clutch is slipping. Will have to replace that this weekend. The joy of cars.......... Wont be able to get any quicker on those street tyres as it nows fries them in third gear. Next time I go out I will have to put the slicks on. Was hoping to do a flat 12 on the 205x60x15's but traction is becoming a problem now. Also, thinking of converting to an auto as the gear box is on they way out. ke30det Posted August 4, 2007 Author Report Share Posted August 4, 2007 Put the corolla on the Dyno yesterday at CNJ Motorsport in Brisbane. The beast is now putting out 224.7 rwkw on 16psi. (302rwhp I think) This was done on a Dyno Dynamics Dynometer. The car is still running safe and injectors aren't maxed out yet. The turbo has plenty to go. I will try get the dyno sheet up soon.
