Trev
Hi guys, The last day i have noticed that a few posts by other members have been an hour ahead of the time the board states for me which makes the post hang around for an hour, I have included a pic so no one sez that it is just me: I'm no moderator but could you please make sure your time is correct as it throws the View New Posts section around (for me anyway), Thanks. Trev
Des one of the 1st things you do when you join the forum is fill out the time and destination settings, I am led to believe that some people arent following simple forum rules. irokin
The server takes no time data from the end user. So it doesn't matter if your clock is set 40 years in the future. The server doesn't know or care. Your GMT offset setting is for your visual benefit only. Times are entered into the database as seconds from the unix epoch at GMT+0 and come from the servers own clock. Why that post was an hour ahead I'm not sure and to be frank I don't really care. Unless it starts happening frequently I'm not even going to investigate further.
