HIGH ROLLER
hahaha if you must know.... AU$264 shipped to my door. Got it off a shop on US Ebay, the real mckoy and even cheaper than I could buy it directly from Wilwood by about $50! Â sexy, innit?
LXY-642
Yummy. Wilwood :)
cuzzo
how are you going to mount it? Just some bracketry?
HIGH ROLLER
Correct cuzzo, my best mate is going to fabricate a bracket, probably out of Mild steel. Also, a plate to be welded to the inside of the firewall, where the beacket will mount, to stop "flexing". He just finished his own Tilton setup in his rwd 323, although his bracket is Moly. cuzzo
interesting.............................................................. Â didnt come with masters/slaves? Whats the average price on a master? Â Is it street rego able? Â Unboosted brakes huh?
HIGH ROLLER
I didn't order the masters yet, as not 100% on what brakes i'll be running. Will be engineered. No booster, but has twin masters for brakes...should pull up great, and save some weight in the process. Â Wilwood MC's go for $50-80 US, so no biggie. cuzzo
The best part is  a) street cred b) no messy masters/leaks c) so much more room  can't wait till she finished man. It will be awesome to get them all out on the street / wsid
HIGH ROLLER
Thanks man, Â It's just so much neater with a pedal box and remote MC setup. Going to probably have the MC reservoirs mounted in the vents behind the bonnet, if they'll fit. Â I reckon! I can't wait to get this thing going. it will be a while tho, would like to have it running within this year but we'll see how it pans out. Â How's your car going cuzzo? HIGH ROLLER
started measuring for surge tank last night, going to dummy it up out of cardboard tonight then drop off the dummy to my mate for fabricating. Â anyone know the legalities of having the battery mounted with the fuel system together in the wheel well? I will probably have the room in there to fit an Odyssee or similar battery... HIGH ROLLER
Mark mount the surge tank under the car with no lines inside the boot. You will get nasty fuel smell. -Quoted from Toymods  haha my work computer won't let me onto Toymods, so can only reply here.  Teflon braids = no fuel smell :)
cuzzo
i hope so..... Â cause mine was nasty after a week closed up. Clothes smelt and stuff.
HIGH ROLLER
yep Teflon lined braids are the way to go for getting rid of fuel smell. I was going to run the teflon anyway, as I plan to switch to E85 later on. Cheers for the heads up tho.
cuzzo
But where are you going to put your shopping? Â Yeah I'm going one of the odyssey batteries too. Just so much neater and more realiable
