ae71wagonater Posted March 4, 2008 Author Report Posted March 4, 2008 (edited) what do you plan to do with the intake? The back of the plenum has been cut off just short of the brake booster and clutch master...just, then a pipe was welded onto the front. Also inside the plenum are four little suction tubes that curve down into the bottom of the plenum, we had to cut the back one really short to make it fit. My plan is to keep the engine stock standard for a long while so this was the way to go for me. this photo is old, ill upload some newer ones to give you all a better look. Sam_Q Posted March 14, 2008 Report Posted March 14, 2008 ok looks neat but I strongly recommend whatever the length that the four trumpets be equal or else you will be rich/lean conditions between cylenders Quote
greenmac80 Posted May 30, 2008 Report Posted May 30, 2008 Silvertop put out about 80kw at the wheels. Toyota claimed that the silvertop was 125kw? i didn't think you would lose 40kw through the driveline? Quote
Trev Posted May 30, 2008 Report Posted May 30, 2008 I thought this car looked familiar, It was at work the other week to get a few things done to it, Really is a tidy looking car upclose and is a nice conversion, The panel on the firewall surely made it easy to change the leads and so on, Are you John?
