KERAZY Posted August 11, 2007 Report Posted August 11, 2007 Gday all, I've got two rooted KE70 seats that have had their share of broken-ness for quite a while. That, and I hardly fit in the damn car. What seats and rails would allow me to sit further back, lower, and would keep me in the seat apart from a racing seat (not ready for that yet)? it's a budgo job, so anything too expensive will not be considered - period. start throwing money at unnecessary stuff, the fun goes away pretty quick now doesn't it? Thanks guys. Quote
anastasios Posted August 11, 2007 Report Posted August 11, 2007 get a stock ae71 seat and pull the webbing from the bottom, otherwise just buy a bucket Quote
tas_ae71 Posted August 12, 2007 Report Posted August 12, 2007 i have a brand new drivers side bucket seat, just 1. looking for $220 for it. Quote
smacko84 Posted August 12, 2007 Report Posted August 12, 2007 if your the only drive then take it off and make up some custom rails that just mount the seat further back. Quote
KERAZY Posted August 12, 2007 Author Report Posted August 12, 2007 the seats wobble back and forth. good idea to rip them apart and fix that yeah :y:? Re-upholstering won't be a problem. I will be a passenger occasionally. not liking the idea of making my own rails :) Quote
tas_ae71 Posted August 13, 2007 Report Posted August 13, 2007 yeah or buy a better bucket seat... no need for reapolstering or ripping it apart to fix it when its brand new Quote
