All T50's are less the same, just swap from A to T series bellhousings if you get one out of an AE71. TA22 box is the best source for T-series bellhousings attached to T50 gear boxes

I guess if you could prove the car was either a te31, 35, 36 or a te37 then yes you could.

But then again if you could prove the corolla came out with the motor in question and upgrades it had, then i guess you could do it.

Actually, legally no, as we never got any of those cars here.

 

You have to prove it underwent certification in Australia in that configuration, and it didn't.
