Pure-SX Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 As far as I know they take the place of the stock ecu, of course a little wiring up would be needed, NO WHERE near as much as a microtech though. Not sure about the differences. Antilag is for turbo's you wanker :)

ancullen Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 And you'd still get lagged by the KE55. :) 9,000rpm FTW!!!
Pure-SX Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 True that. :) Been recommend a few places up here. Winnelie Performance(cobraed from boost) for the balance. JNL crankshafts for rebuild. and hi-tech for everything else :D
Pure-SX Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 I want to do a dodgy number plate application one day lol. something like OII YOU OVER THERE WANNA RACE? one day I will get that number plate, cover the whole rear bumper :). Adam, you able to PM/email me for a list as descriptive as possible as to the parts I would need for a turbo build thanks babe, you owe me, for the numberplate shit again/bottlecaps still in my car
wasfishing Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 And you'd still get lagged by the KE55. :P 9,000rpm FTW!!! The same ke55 that hasnt moved under its own power in a least a month :) Not gunna happen adam :D :P
ancullen Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 I'm debt free bitch. You need to work out what parts you want, I'm not going to try and do it for you. I've got enough trouble trying to find the right parts for my cars.
ancullen Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 The same ke55 that hasnt moved under its own power in a least a month :) Not gunna happen adam :D :P A month? It's WAY more than that!!! It hasn't moved (at all) since the 22nd of July. Just you wait till it is moving again. When it is moving, it'll REALLY move. I want to crack a 1:30 at Hidden Valley next time I take it out. :P
Pure-SX Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 You misunderstood, I just need a list of parts NOT SPECIFIC parts like turbo manifold plenum ecu etc I got a grip on most of it, just trying to get an idea of all small things etc GET BOTTLE CAPS OUT OF MY CAR
ancullen Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 Turbo Inlet manifold/plenum Intercooler & piping Exhaust manifold ECU Thick head gasket (1.6 or 2.0mm) or 4A-GZE pistons or after-market low compression forged pistons That's all I can think of off the top of my head. There is more you can do, but it's not essential (eg. injectors, fuel return line, etc).
Pure-SX Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 If I was to use forged Arias Pistons for the 20V drops compression to about 9:1, what sort of head gasket to use? metal for sure eh?
ancullen Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 Yeah, I'd use a metal head gasket, but you could use a 1.0mm thick one as you wouldn't want to drop the compression any further. You'd need the metal gasket to avoid blowing the gasket out from the boost.
Pure-SX Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 Any recomendations? For reliability what else would you recommend for when the motor is rebuilt?
