Ella - I know a fair bit of general stuff about Toyota's (eg. TA22's came with a 2T-G), but am a bit fuzzier on the specific details. I would have thought that a 4A-C alternator would fit a 4A-GE, but can't be certain. I might have a spare 4A-GZE alternator sitting around - I'll try and have a look sometime soon, although I will have to head out to Girraween to check it out.

 

If you do happen to find an alternator i have cash ready to go right this second...

I'll head out to the parent-in-laws and have a look sometime this weekend.

 

BTW, any idea on when you'll be wanting to come pick up those rims? It's just I'm using the 15's currently (with different tyres), so I'll need to swap back to the alloys before you come to pick them up.

ou can use em for the tmie being, that money for rims is no doubt going to go on the alternator :(

Too easy. That gives me a bit of time to get myself sorted. If I do have an alternator amongst my parts I'll give it to you real cheap just to see you out on the track. :(

when your looking at that alt (like its in front of ya) could you call me so i can ask a few questions about it? or just mms me a few photos if its a camera phone...

tried toyota $250 for the tail light F@#k that. know n e number for wreckers down south? When its all fixed it should be down at the track and hopefully fairly quick coz it handles really well!!!!

Ella - Sorry, turns out I don't have an alternator after all. I thought I might have, but I obviously haven't built up a big enough collection of spares yet. Let me know if you want me to make a trip to Indy's or wherever to try and get you one at trade price.
