Is it wrong of me to already be looking at performance improvements for a car I don't have and have never driven?

10.8mm lift

Stock are intake 240-degree 8.7mm lift, 236-degree 8.2mm lift. Tempting, but I think I'll wait till I get the car. Although these cams, with an aftermarket ECU and upgraded internals for the CT20B would be nice...

Hey all been awhile been slack lately. Well with my rolla /sigh it currently has no oil in it rofl. I am guessing a ring has decided to run away but atm I am not sure. At first I believed that it was running mega rich due to the quite strong smell after a little bit of "spirited driving" and sometimes on idle on a crappy day. But at my dismay after a nice wash I decided to check oil and guess what it was below the LOW line lol it bearly touched the dip stick. So depending on the damage I may get the current engine fixed cheaply, get a new Silvertop engine and possibly gearbox as mine is about to laugh its last laugh so to speak or go the 4agze :o:D:D. All depending on the extent of the damage.

 

So yeah fun fun fun(spending money woot).

Also with the silvertop VTI doesnt really give a kick there is a noticable "power increase" at about 4-5k but nothing as extreme as a turbo or FULLY HEKTIK VTEC BRO DAT PWNZ ALL TOYOTAZ. :o Toyota owns Honda any day of week :D

Good to hear from you Steven. It may be cheaper to buy another Silvertop from down south and drop it in. And the gearbox should be easy to find a replacement for - any FWD Corolla five speed will go straight in.

Except ZZE122R-onwards obviously.

what kinda gearbox is in the mr2 the E-51? or wateva it is. I have a "gze gearbox" in my car atm supposebly but i couldn't really care if it is or not. cheers
