I am going to hopefully see my painter contact too see when he is available to paint the corolla. Want it looking the best for the carshow lol. Might even look at getting the engine bay tidied and a few bits polished too.

 

New strut brace brings a nice shine to the engine bay. Pity my dad didn't trust me installing it(I lol'd) so he TRIED to tighten the strut top bolts. Couldn't tighten any of them but he managed to snap one :( so thats another $60 for another strut top...

its just a strut brace its not hard to install..... $60 darn wish my strut barces would show up or i knew were they were ay adam....

Just checked tracking number - items left Sydney at 14:54 on 3 December. WOO-HOO!!! They're on their way!!!

Good to hear, I know strut braces arnt hard, took all of 5 minutes. Dad had to come along and snap a bolt though lol.

hey are tehy doing the dyno comp again??? what about sound off???

I would think that the events would be announced closer to the event. I don't believe they had a dyno comp last year but they had a sound off.

I haven't heard about all the events yet - just notified that the motor show is on and when it should be. Still possible that the date will change due to the Crusty Demons being in town.

adam you said somthing a wile back about contacting toyota and signs for the show or something ??

I'll find out closer to the time. I've spoken with the Business Development Manager, and he said they'd be glad to do something, but that I should contact him closer to the event to arrange it. With the motorshow in May, I'll give him a call in March to get the ball rolling.

 

Hopefully we'll have all the cars ready by then so he knows what he's getting involved with - with any luck that will get him more enthusiastic!
