October 25, 200718 yr comment_205318 It is possible to remove the sump without removing the engine (Ive done it) but its a lot of stuffing around. Far far easier to remove the engine. Report
October 26, 200718 yr comment_205426 What about just lifting the engine up a couple of inches? Report
October 26, 200718 yr comment_205431 Thats pretty much what you have to do. I might have dropped the cross member as well, can't remember. Seriously, just take the engine out, you will regret trying to do it with the engine in. Report
November 7, 200718 yr Author comment_207799 well following your advise i lift the engine to change the gasket, but one nut didnt colaborate so i have to remove the engine and as is said in the rollaclub faq i increase the oil pump pressure as well i have no pics of the first part :D so here we go it looks good not the best place to put an engine, but... there is something missing here check out the gearbox :sob: :o the competition extractor  :( the starter new gasket in my help, my grandfather 89 years old after 8 hours its back in BONUS a 4Kless *E70 the new Corolla "Powered By Trufaz" Report
June 30, 201610 yr comment_705244 Did you use a sealant anywhere on the gasket? My 3K keeps pushing the "half moon" section around the rear of the crankshaft out. Report
June 30, 201610 yr comment_705248 Don't do it up so tight Bulant, and if you take it off use a silicon sealant on both sides. I think the common problem is to screw them up so much it squeezes the rubber out, but overall its not a brilliant design. A rear leak is very common, and the hardest to get to if you want to fix it.
