Here's a shot from a motorkhana held at Hidden Valley on Saturday afternoon/night:

 

 

 

Yes, that's an SA63 Celica.

 

Yes, it's painted to look like the Interceptor from Mad Max.

 

Yes, it's a 4L juice bottle, some cardboard and some garden hose sprayed silver to look like a supercharger.

 

Apparently the job took three hours to do, and was done on the spur of the moment with a few cans of cheap spray paint.

 

The logo on the side says: "MFP - In Wild Turkey We Trust".

 

EDIT: The side exhaust was made out of an old bike rack. There were four pipes on either side. The wings/spoilers on the back were cardboard and tape.

Sucks that they outdid our pirate gemini effort. We would have been more equal had we had more time to actually paint it like a ship :)

It was fun, locker action was ace but pity the handbrake didn't want to co-operate. And even more of a pity that it decided to pop a headgasket (may have been brokeded even before we punished it though) so I didn't get a spin.

 

So after the gemini was retired my KE70 went out full of 5 people, including the fatty that is Ancullen :)
