NickZ
Yes I'm in tassie. mine will rev clean to about 6500 but i have taken it to 7000 but wouldnt do i again as after about 6000 mark it doesnt really produce much more power. Its running ok now but i will be putting on EFI soon so should be better.
ke30nuts
what part of tassie are you from?
irokin
better then 5000rpm :insane: so whats the changes to make a 2t into a 2t/3t hybrid?? standard 2T block needs 3T crank, rods and pistons. Need to grind the block out a bit so the rods clear. Pretty straightforward and gives you an extra 200cc. From there you can bore it out another 200cc and give you a 2 litre 2T monster. ke30nuts
that sounds very very doable. so i take the bore size is the same?
irokin
yea theyre the same. going to 2L is no good for nitrous or forced induction however because the bore walls are too thin to take that kind of abuse.

ke30nuts
looking gooood. I got a drive in my old red rolla that now has a 2t-g in it, it seems to be about the same torque as the 2t but has a SHIT load more top end and still the webbers are not tuned, so can't what to take it for drive when it is. i think he is putting EFI on it???? so he mite be selling the webbers. if you are interested? :insane:
NickZ
Just finished repainting the black parts of the car for a car show at the weekend. Now painted in shwarts Black, BMW pearl black, But in sunlight it changes between really dark green/grey/purple. Ill try to get better pics of the colour. These where taken just after finishing buffing. Its been a rush job too only started it Tuesday, so strip off the old paint, bog work (not much little dents in the bonnet), Prime, rub back, colour, colour, clear, clear, clear, clear, dry time, rub back, buff, and finished tonight (Friday) Now i just have to put it back together and detail for show on sunday. and to answer ke30nuts...It is now EFI too. NickZ
Here are the pics of the new multicoil setup, using 2 como coils and a 4AGE 20V CAS and running a MTX8 Microtech with sequential injection. Yes it was worth it, there is a huge power increase over the normal efi, It runs so smooth. Edited May 25, 2005 by NickZ
