Hi guys ,just wanting some info on the thickness of the ke36/38 or later wagon series swaybar compared to ke30 sedan. I'm looking to upgrade my standard 19mm ke30 swaybar and i know wagon swaybars are thicker, but how much thicker? if anyone can help that would be great or if you could measure yours if you have a ke36/38 wagon that would be even better. Ive tried looking around on the forum and can't find the info. :hmm: Any info appriciated :y:

80 mod ke38 are 22mm

you could always knock up some brackets and piggy back a second sway bar onto the existing one. Looks tough too!

Many years ago when I had my ke30 2 door I ran a twin front bar setup. The extra bar was a Shelby's add-on, which clamped to the existing bar and could be adjusted. I sold it to Fook several years ago and he put it on his 35 race car.

Did this on my ke35. It was from a Mazda that just hapened to line up. Handled great too.

 

Another option would be to try a KE55 bar.

So there is a noticeable difference doubling up the swaybars? anyone have any pics of how they mounted them?
