  5. Hi guys, havent updated much on the rolla for a while. Made it on the cover of Fast Fours magazine this month which is cool. Very happy with the feature and with pics, havent done any new mods for a while but ill be changing diff ratios soon and Lsd.
  6. Thanks guys, the radiator is also out of an Honda S2000 its a Koyorad aftermarket radiator.
  7. Thanks mate, the hardest part would be the modified cross member as i had to space it down and notch a section out aswell as custom mounts obviously. Also the modified tunnel to fit the s2k gearbox which is tall. I ran it on the dyno at a show and it made 125 rwkw
  8. Thanks guys I'm really happy with the way its turned out. Ive had alot of help from the boys in my club and from good mates that helped me all the way.
  9. Small update on the rolla fitted a few suspension bits from the states. Negative camber roll center adjusters and adjustable heavy duty control arms which are a work of art. Also Selectnine did a photo shoot of the rolla for THE-LOWDOWN.COM which should be featured in the near future. I also tried on some R34 Gtr rims on for fun and to my surprise 18x9 fit in the rear but fronts were way off.
  10. Looks tuff az , looking forward to seeing it at toyotafest and having a better look. Should be running 10s soon. Good on you mate !
  11. Yeah mate they were suspension bushes, i decided to also re make gearbox cross member with better bushes. My self and the Radrollaz boys will be at Toyota fest this year, come say hi and check out the car.
  12. Not sure were they came from my fabricator got them off his brother and they apparentley get used on alot of hot rods. They are alot better than the old ones and still are quite firm and are actually rubber as opposed to nolathane that i had in there before.
  13. Thanks mate, ive put about 2500km on the rolla in the last 6 months i try and drive it at least once a week but don't always have time unfortunatley.
  14. thanks mate, havent done any track time yet but the rotors are looking crap already but they always do. Hubs section of rotor still looks ok but outer bits looking average.
  15. Thanks Robski, i appriciate your kind words mate. Daisy is definatley looking the goods, i was supprised to get an award at showcased considering some of the cars there.
  16. hi mate, i used a small belt sander to get rid of casting marks. I then used a flat block with 80 grade sand paper and blocked the flat sections of the rocker cover. I finished it off with 240 grade all over and then used hyfill 2pac primer. I then blocked that also and finihed it off with 800 grade and it was ready for paint.
  17. thanks Matt, gave her a wash for a few up coming shows.
  18. Looking good mate, good to hear your also using as many s2k parts as possible. I must say your taking it alot further than me, keen as to see it come together. I was also considering the aircon side of things as i have all the bits also but I'm not sure ill go that way. Might have to see how you do your ac set up and get a few ideas. Keep those pics coming !
  19. Rocker cover is all done, also tried my slicks on today and took daisy for a quick drive and struggled to even get them warm, I'm sure a track day will sort that out. Also gave the undercarrige a wash in preperation for a few up coming shows.
  20. Small update, bought a second rocker cover for the F20C as my other one got scratched slightly. Decided to get rid of the casting marks and block it down and get it really flat before hyfill primer and fresh candy paint.
  21. hey Robski this build thread is old this car now belongs to Mitchell one of the boys in my club. he is currently finishing the conversion .
  22. Thanks mate i appriciate your feedback, id have to say the sr conversion is cheaper and easier aswell as having more power. f20c is harder ,more expensive but its unique and is fun to drive. hard choice really.
