I disagree. That's where the sprung centre makes a difference. It lets it have a bit of "give" that you wouldn't normally have. I already have one in the Dwarf, and it's great (cute little 3 puck). You can get away with the sprung centre unless ou have monster HP. Where the benefit is, is that once the clutch has taken up, you have virtually no clutch slip. It's hard to explain. Full buttons, like the one in Datgirl's 1600, are piggish, and take some getting use to, but they're not as bad as everyone thinks. Justin, come and try mine when it's going, and see what you think...

don't run a button clutch on the street, it's not good, you'll either be doing burnouts everywhere, or you'll lunch it within a couple of months

not planning to run the celica on the street in about a months time :)

 

For a bitey street clutch Id be running a carbon clutch over an organic anyday. Carbons sticky up as they get hot :thumbsup:
